My Farming Side, Experience with Agriculture

Hello dear friends of hive, today I bring you a post different from the ones I have been publishing in this magnificent platform, which is so large and diverse that gives you the option to write about any topic you want.

When I was little I knew the part of agriculture, thanks to my great-grandmother Juana, she taught me when I went to visit her house, everything related to the field, you can see in this video my first steps in planting, there I was still small, but deeply surprised with the whole world I was discovering, with her, I learned to know the plants that produce our food, how to plant them and the irrigation process.

I live in a housing development of apartment buildings, now, recently I have participated, and I have seen the work that my neighbors do trying to recover the spaces that are abandoned.

Once these places were gardens, and now they are damaged because with the lack of fertilizer, irrigation and care over the years, the soil died along with the plants that were there, you can see that the green area almost disappeared completely.

Now we started a work that I show you in my photos, which is already beginning to bear fruit, not only planting food plants, but also medicinal plants in a nice community project where each neighbor has a small space to plant what he likes and thus recover the beautiful green color that once had our gardens.

Among the medicinal plants is one that is commonly used for the flu, as well as others such as malojillo, lemon balm and basil that have multiple uses, especially to improve digestion and stomach problems.

We consider this project a great achievement due to the fact that because it is an urbanization it is difficult to plant and more importantly, it lasts for a long time.

Each tower has a group of neighbors who are in charge of planting and producing, I wanted to take you on a tour of my entire urbanization so that you can appreciate the great work that has been achieved here with the help of everyone, we already have many areas modified and recovered.

I must clarify that the crops are not mine, they belong to the property of the urbanization, which I asked permission to take the photos that I show here, since I have participated in the recovery of the spaces of my tower in this urbanization.
