Hola buenas tardes, buenas noches o simplemente buenos días, no importa la hora ni el lugar, hive me lleva hasta ti a través de mi blog, hoy me presento en esta comunidad de arte, porque me encanta dibujar y cada día perfeccionó más mi estilo, en esta oportunidad quise realizar mi entrada con la fabulosa iniciativa de Halloween

I am going to tell a story, when I was a child I saw something that I will never forget, it starts on a Halloween Saturday night in 1987, I was 12 years old, at that time my dad and I were playing soccer, when it started to get dark the stars began to come out, suddenly from the sky it seemed that something strange was falling.

Wethought what a plane was and we ran to the point where the object hit, to find out what fell or if we could help the wounded who were on the site, when we entered the forest, we saw the strange vehicle that was not even a plane , not a meteorite, but a spaceship, but it looked empty, we began to check the debris and a viscous liquid could be noticed, we tried not to touch anything, we did not know what that was.

Suddenly a creature is heard in the dark, which begins to emerge from the shadows, something monstrous that measured about two meters, was very hairy, on its forehead you could see an ear that seemed human, it had a mouth with very sharp fangs in the stomach, its red eyes in the style that you do not sleep for a day reflected a look that penetrates to your soul, that thing when observing my dad made a roar and quickly approached, grabbed him, ripped off his arm with its sharp claws and I ran away, while the hairy and ugly being ate my dad.

Iran like I had never done before in my entire life, when I did so I could only hear the desperate screams of my father at the hands of whoever was with him, when I got home, I told my uncle what happened, he grabbed a shotgun, with all the horror in the world that I felt, I decided to go with my uncle, we went to the place hoping to find my dad, when we arrived, there was nothing, the UFO was not there, there was only a hole in the ground and the burned trees, no one believed me even though my dad was never seen again, I didn't know and I will never know, if that alien only came looking for one of his own to return to his planet, or was it the government that arrived at the place and erased all evidence.

To this day, my whole family thinks that on Halloween my dad was just kidnapped and all that happened to me was such a horrible attack of fear that it made me see those people as monsters.

¿Monstruos en Halloween?

Les voy a contar una historia, cuando era niño vi algo que nunca voy a olvidar, inicia un sábado de Halloween por la noche de 1987, yo tenía 12 años, en esa época mi papá y yo estábamos jugando fútbol, cuando empezó a oscurecer las estrellas comenzaron a salir, de repente del cielo parecía que iba cayendo algo extraño.
Pensamos qué era un avión y fuimos corriendo al punto donde impactó el objeto, para saber qué cayó o si podíamos ayudar a los heridos que estuviesen en el sitio, cuando nos adentramos en el bosque, vimos el extraño vehículo que no era ni un avión, ni un meteorito, sino una nave espacial, pero se veía vacía, comenzamos a revisar los escombros y se podía notar un líquido viscoso, tratamos de no tocar nada, no sabíamos qué era eso.
De pronto se escucha en la oscuridad una criatura, el cual empieza a salir desde las sombras, algo monstruoso que medía como dos metros, era muy peludo, en su frente se observaba una oreja que parecía humana, tenía una boca con colmillos muy afilados en el estómago, sus ojos rojos al estilo de que no duermes por un día reflejaban una mirada que penetra hasta tu alma, esa cosa al observar a mi papá hizo un rugido y se acercó rápidamente, lo agarró, le arrancó un brazo con sus filosas garras y yo salí corriendo, mientras el peludo y feo ser se comía a mi papá.
Corrí como nunca antes lo había hecho en toda mi vida, al hacerlo solo podía escuchar los desesperados gritos de mi padre a manos de lo que con él estaba, cuando llegué a la casa, le dije lo ocurrido a mi tío, él agarró una escopeta, yo con todo el horror del mundo que sentía decidí ir con mi tío, nos dirigimos al lugar con la esperanza de encontrar a mi papá, cuando llegamos, no había nada, no estaba el ovni, solo había un hueco en la tierra y los árboles quemados, nadie me creyó a pesar de que mi papá jamás fue visto de nuevo, no supe y nunca sabré, si ese extraterrestre solo vino a buscar unos de los suyos para regresar a su planeta, o fue el gobierno que llegó al lugar y borró toda evidencia.
Hasta el sol de hoy, toda mi familia piensa que ese día de Halloween a mi papá solo lo secuestraron y todo lo que me pasó fue ataque de miedo tan horrible, que hizo que viera a esas personas como monstruos.

This time I missed capturing the image of the sketch, but in the video you can see everything.

We can see my sketch already perfectly outlined in red, because it is the color I use to see my drawing well, the details that are missing and the ones that I will take away.

Podemos observar mi boceto ya perfectamente delineado en rojo, porque es el color que utilizo para ver bien mi dibujo, los detalles que le faltan y los que les quitaré.

I created another layer and proceeded to outline my alien in black, to give it the touches and begin to define my little monster in order to give it color.

Cree otra capa y procedí a delinear mi alien de color negro, para darle los toques y empezar a definir mi pequeño monstruo para poder darle color.

I removed the layer with the red lines because I no longer needed them.

Now comes one of the parts that I enjoy the most in my drawings, the coloring, I think that is what gives it life.

I use a reddish brown tone and then shade it in darker tones, as I color I start to play with the tools, the tones and the textures.

The body of my alien is already completely colored in a single tone, only the claws and eyes are missing.

In this part I want to focus on what gives soul and life to the characters, I've always thought, when you paint the eyes already there you begin to see the drawing alive.

Obviously here it still looks soulless and very flat because I only removed the brown color to proceed to place the appropriate colors.

En esta parte me quiero enfocar en lo que le da alma y vida a los personajes, siempre lo he pensado, cuando pintas los ojos ya allí se empieza a ver vivo el dibujo.
Obvio aquí aún se ve sin alma y muy plano porque solo quite el color marrón para así proceder a colocar los colores apropiados.

I wanted to add a tone to the eyes like when you haven't slept for several days, it's like very faint pink and the edges are a little darker but not that much.

Quise colocarle un tono a los ojos como cuando no duermes en varios días, es como rosado muy tenue y los bordes un poco más oscuros pero no tanto.

I painted the pupils black and glittered the eyes themselves with a faded white tone.

The hands and paste claws have already begun to take shape with the bone white color that I placed on them in this step.

In these three images I wanted to fix the teeth that it had in its belly.

Obviously the teeth of the belly must also be very scary, so I put the same bone tone on it and began to make dark red blood stains.

On its forehead it has a kind of ear very similar to a human one, so I started to draw it, I confess that it took me a little while here because with human figures it is still difficult for me to make amazing drawings, but I promise you that I am practicing to make drawings amazing in that style too.

My ear more closely to refine the details, I put a light flesh color, some shadows in a darker tone, the same flesh, with light gray outlines and the hole in dark gray, with black lines.

Mi oreja más de cerca para afinar los detalles, le coloqué un color carne claro, unas sombras en un tono más oscuro, igual carne, con delineados en gris claro y el hoyo en gris oscuro, con líneas negras.

The final art of my process, in this image you can already see my perfectly finished alien, let me tell you that it took me a while to get that fur, I tried, believe it or not, like 20 guys and I loved none of them, but when I saw this one I fell in love , was what was missing and so was the part of the character.

El arte final de mi proceso, en esta imagen ya pueden notar a mi alien perfectamente terminado, déjenme decirles que ese pelaje me tarde en conseguirlo, probé aunque no lo crean como 20 tipos y ninguno me encantaba, pero cuando vi este quede enamorado, era lo que le faltaba y así quedó la parte del personaje.

Here I started to think what background I would like for it, I tried several, one color, several colors, textures, but then I thought it's Halloween, so let's make a scene for my monster that is set to the story for the contest.

I hope you like both my story and my drawing to participate in this fun initiative of a theme that I like and I enjoy it very much and if it allows me to practice drawing and writing it is even better.

Aquí me puse a pensar qué fondo me gustaría para él, probé varios, de un solo color, de varios colores, texturas, pero luego pensé es Halloween, así que hagamos un escenario para mi monstruo que esté ambientado a la historia para el concurso.
Espero les guste tanto mi historia como mi dibujo para participar en esta divertida iniciativa de una temática que me gusta y la disfruto muchísimo y si me permite practicar dibujo y escritura es mejor aún.
