♔ Chess Game Analysis: Herby vs XM9000 (Sep 4, 2021)

Hi all! Continuing with the series of posts and video on chess training, I think this is the fourth installment. As usual, we are going to review some games of our own to improve our play and learn some chess concepts. That is very important when training and should not be disregarded. I explain everything in the video.

This time we'ge going to use the method of analysis of own games to a game played between @schamangerbert and @maciejficek (AKA Herby vs XM9000 on Lichess). Actually, I planned to cover two games but after some tries I realized the video would be too long. So, I'm expecting to cover the other game as soon as I've got time! The game shown belongs to the Quarantine Cup 3 Arena played a few days ago.

I think the video is self-explanatory, so I hope you enjoy watching it. Don't forget to support me by sharing it, upvoting it and let me know what you think in the comments.

    Position1
After a bunch of turns, we get to this position where black could have gone with it. Tell me the winning move and the plan behind it. It's not that hard. I also cover a lot more things in the video, by the way.

    Here is the game PGN:
