A Rush of Blood to the Head.

A Rush of Blood to the Head estaba casi completo.

Do you love life? Well, if you love life don't waste time, because time is the good of which life is made (Benjamin Franklin).

With this little quote I want to start this post.

Hello again my friends, it's a pleasure to greet you again, Endersong here and today I bring you a little cover of this great band and with the theme of time in between.

For Benjamin Franklin it is something that should not be wasted, for me time is the most beautiful thing you can give to someone because it is giving part of your life to others.

    A little bit about Clocks

Clocks" was conceived during the final recording sessions for Coldplay's second album, A Rush of Blood to the Head. Vocalist Chris Martin arrived late at night in the studio, suddenly a piano accompaniment came to his mind and he decided to write it. According to Martin, the British band Muse served as inspiration.4 Martin presented his idea to guitarist Jon Buckland, who added chords to the basic track:5 "He [Jon Buckland] took his guitar (a sure sign that he liked the song) and played those brilliant chords.... It was like the process of a chemical reaction. " *It was like the process of a chemical reaction.

*Before writing "Clocks," the band had already prepared ten songs for the album, so they felt it was too late to include the song because A Rush of Blood to the Head was almost complete. They resolved to record a version of the song and keep it with other incomplete works, labeling the file as "Songs for Number Three", a note implying that they were going to place those works on their third studio album, X&Y.

In June 2002, the group was ready to submit their work to Parlophone, their record label. However, Martin was not satisfied with the album, and felt that it was "garbage". For this reason, they agreed to delay its release. After a short tour, Coldplay started working on their "Songs for Number Three". Phil Harvey, Martin's friend and the band's manager, heard "Clocks" and suggested working on it immediately. Martin, persuaded by Harvey, improved the outline of the song, while the other band members contributed an electric bass and drum figure. Coldplay recorded the song very quickly, due to the impending release of the previously postponed album, which occurred two months later than the date that had originally been agreed upon.
