Esta es mi primera participación en el "Hive Music Festival", siempre es grato este tipo de concursos donde incentivan a los músicos a ponerse creativos y a crear nuevas experiencias a través de su conocimiento y habilidad. Muchas gracias Hive por todo lo nuevo que veo, espero disfruten mi post.

¿Cómo están mi gente?, el día de hoy les traigo este clásico del Nü metal, una de esas canciones que cambio para siempre mi forma de ver la música y abrió mi mente a nuevos horizontes tiene por nombre "In the end" de la gran banda Linkin Park cancion perteneciente al album "Hybrid Theory".

How are my people?, today I bring you this classic of Nü metal, one of those songs that changed forever my way of seeing the music and opened my mind to new horizons is named "In the end " of the great band Linkin Park song belonging to the album "Hybrid Theory".

Recuerdo de pequeño no entender casi nada de lo que decía la canción pero su sonido característico me impacto, los screams de Chester (RIP), el rap de Mike, el piano marcando una melodía inolvidable y a su vez contagiosa, las guitarras con su distorsión, todo para mi era impresionante.

A diferencia de lo que muchos creen la canción no trata de un apocalipsis o el final de la humanidad, es mas una canción relacionada con el desamor o con el sin fin de intentos para que al final no importen.

I remember as a child not understanding almost anything the song said but its characteristic sound impacted me, the Chester screams (RIP), Mike's rap, the piano marking an unforgettable and at the same time contagious melody, the guitars with their distortion, everything for me was impressive.

Unlike what many believe, the song is not about an apocalypse or the end of humanity, it is more a song related to the lack of love or the endless attempts to make it not matter in the end.

Un poco de historia | A little bit of history

"In the end" es el cuarto y último sencillo de Hybrid Theory, primer álbum de estudio de Linkin Park. Con esta canción alcanzaron el reconocimiento mundial, posicionándose en los primeros lugares en las listas de todo el mundo. La canción fue generalmente muy bien recibida por críticos de rock contemporáneo.

Esta canción sin duda marco un antes y un despues en la banda, su espectacular video nos muestra a la banda en la cima de una estatua con una apariencia un tanto egipsia donde se encuentran tocando y cantando respectivamente.

Vemos tambien como Mike va caminando y rapeando mientras va creando vida en un paisaje desertico. Para el intermedio de la canción todo se oscurese mientras escuchamos de Chester "I've put my trust in you-Pushed as far as I can go" relatando que esta persona le fallo y aun así siguió intentándolo para que no importase.

El final del vídeo nos muestra el paisaje "creado" por Mike lleno de una vida mas alla de nuestra imaginación.

In the end" is the fourth and final single from "Hybrid Theory", Linkin Park's first studio album. With this song they achieved worldwide recognition, positioning themselves at the top of the charts worldwide. The song was generally very well received by contemporary rock critics.

This song undoubtedly mark a before and after in the band, its spectacular video shows us the band at the top of a statue with a somewhat Egyptian appearance where they are playing and singing respectively.

We also see Mike walking and rapping as he creates life in a deserted landscape. By the middle of the song everything goes dark as we listen to Chester "I've put my trust in you-Pushed as far as I can go" telling us that this person failed him and yet he kept trying so it didn't matter.

The end of the video shows us the landscape "created" by Mike full of a life beyond our imagination.
