Hola amigos, tiempo sin pasar por aquí a dejar un cover de rock. Esta canción solia tocarla cuando estaba en el Ensamble de rock sinfonico de San Antonio y en verdad la disfrutaba muchisimo, hoy ven que la sigo disfrutando muchisimo jaja.

No me dejo intimidar por efectos de guitarra y los recreo en un teclado sencillo como pueden escuchar en el intro.

Hello friends, long time no pass by here to leave a rock cover. I used to play this song when I was in the San Antonio Symphonic Rock Ensemble and I really enjoyed it a lot, today you can see that I still enjoy it a lot haha.

I don't let myself be intimidated by guitar effects and recreate them on a simple keyboard as you can hear in the intro.

The Black Keys no fueron nunca unos modernos. A pesar de ser coetáneos del revival garaje de principios de siglo, con The White Stripes, The Hives y compañía, el dúo de Ohio eran demasiado bluseros y tradicionales para los magazines de tendencias y los baretos coolturetas. Sin embargo, su tenacidad y persistencia picando roca fue allanando el sendero a la fama, que tocó techo con su séptimo disco «El Camino» (2011) y su buque insigne: «Lonely Boy».

Tres acordes que se repiten constantemente y una letra más simple que el mecanismo de una púa. No hace falta mucho más para hacer blues rock; pero ahí está Dan Auerbach a la guitarra para aportar su riff con dive bomb, la marcial y contundente batería de Patrick Carney y a los teclados y sacando brillo a todo el sonido, Danger Mouse. Los tres escribieron este hit de melodías pegadizas y estribillo coreable, a lo que se sumó el hipnótico videoclip en el que el actor y guardia de seguridad Derrick T. Tuggle improvisa una serie de bailes en una sola toma. La banda ya tenía un videoclip convencional de la canción, pero optaron por este vídeo casting en bruto que significó más de 100 millones de visitas en YouTube.

*The Black Keys were never hipsters. Despite being contemporaries of the turn-of-the-century garage revival with The White Stripes, The Hives and company, the Ohio duo were too bluesy and traditional for the trend magazines and cool barrooms.
