In the Bible, the discipline of praise is represented by Thaddius, Jesus' 10th disciple. "Thaddius" means "of the heart". The heart indicates the deeper mind, also known as the subconscious (emotional) mind, or the right-brain hemisphere. We should disciple our minds to praise good, only, rather than to ignorantly dispraise someone or something, not knowing of horrendous consequences such words have on everyone and everything.
Words affect everything, from water (a good portion of our bodies) to plants. In the article "Water Speaks" you can read (and see) about the impact of words on water. I also recommend an article titled, "The Game of Words"!
We make everything better by focusing on, talking about, and praising the good qualities in other people and things. Parents should be selecting their words carefully in order to avoid dispraising their children. Every word is a seed, either of destruction or Heavenly nature.

We live under the law of our own thoughts and words. Speak, think, and act accordingly!
