Good day, fellow hivers.
This is a short video that I recorded alongside my rendition for the Hive Open Mic event this week. After recording the video for the weekly contest, I was just jamming and decided to record this too.
This is just an instrumental. The progression being played in the song is a blues progression, although it could also be used in a country music context. I edited the video using Inshot and added the names of the main chords I used in the video. Of course, there's a little bit of chromaticism involved too, for a bluesier feel.
In the future, I hope to gather enough money to buy an electric guitar, amplifier, and effects pedal. Then, I can record progressions like this, loop them, and solo over them. Hopefully, that time comes soon.
