HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 118🎤- SOMEONE LIKE YOU BY ADELE (A COVER)

Good day, fellow hivers.

This is Hive Open Mic week 118 and the theme this week is "Love Hurts" as determined by the recent spotlight artist, @khaleesi. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to participate in this worldwide live music event and watch the amazing entries of a lot of people.

The moment I saw the prompt for this week's event, I immediately thought of Adele. Of course, why not? She's like the queen of heartbreak songs worldwide. So this week, I am performing a popular song by Adele titled 'someone like you' with my acoustic guitar.

Recording this was challenging and fun. I tried to recreate the tone of the original song on my acoustic guitar and I think I came close at least. Let me know what you think.

The song is basically about a woman who has experienced heartbreak and learned that her former lover has found someone new. She says that she wishes them both well and that he shouldn't worry about her because she'll find someone like him. Tjis song is very emotion-laden and is one of Adele's most popular songs.
