GOOD DAY FELLOW HIVERS!
This next prompt given to is by the @hive learners community has asked us to talk about out favorite music and 3 specific songs.
Let me start out by saying that my favorite genre of music to listen to is blues. Both as a listener and an upcoming musician, the blues form a big part of my life and I can almost say that I cannot do without it.
While the blues may be my favorite genre of music, I listen to all sorts of music from all around the world, both for leisure and to learn them as a musician. From jazz, to country, to folk songs, to hip hop, to pop, to Spanish and Mexican music, to japanese, Chinese, and Egyptian music just to name a few. You name that style of music and I'm sure I've listened to some songs in that style before.
The video shows me playing an old blues song - Ain't no sunshine- released in 1992 by Bill Withers, a popular blues musician. The song lyrics talk about how his girl is the light of his world and there's no sunshine whenever she isn't around.

Here are the lyrics-
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And she's always gone too long
Anytime she's goes away
Wonder this time where she's gone
Wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Anytime she goes away
And I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know
I know, I know
Hey I oughta leave young thing alone
But ain't no sunshine when she's gone, woh woh
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
Only darkness every day
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Anytime she goes away
Anytime she goes away
Anytime she goes away
Anytime she goes away

It is impossible for me to really have a favorite song or songs, but I'll just name two more songs that I really love. I was totally into instrumental music when I started my guitar journey and that love burns still today. So another piece I really love is Guitar Boogie by Tommy Emmanuel. You should definitely give this one a listen. I can assure you you'll be blown away.
Another song I really love so much would be "The thrill is gone" by B.B King. B.B. King is regarded as the king of blues! His playing style is so unique, emotional, and soulful. Many upcoming young musicians study his style of music to get a grasp on it. This is another one you should definitely listen to.

Here are the lyrics-
The thrill is gone
The thrill is gone away
The thrill is gone, baby
The thrill is gone away
You know you done me wrong, baby
And you'll be sorry someday
The thrill is gone
It's gone away from me
The thrill is gone, baby
The thrill is gone away from me
Although, I'll still live on
But so lonely I'll be
The thrill is gone
It's gone away for good
All the thrill is gone
Baby, it's gone away for good
Someday I know I'll be open-armed baby
Just like I know, I know I should
You know, I'm free, free now, baby
I'm free from your spell
Oh, free, free, free now, baby
I'm free from your spell
And now that it's all over
All that I can do is wish you well
