Hoy, les quiero hablar de mi experiencia en el primer Giveaway que realicé en Twitter el 10 de Agosto, anunciar a los ganadores y además hablar con ustedes sobre los Tipos de Curadores.

Este video tardó un poco ya que tuve que esperar que mis hijos se durmieran, subanle volumen a las cornetas 🤣 o lean los que aquí les cuento.

Hubieron 64 entradas o respuestas validas en el Giveaway de Twitter, donde además de seguir la cuenta de @hivevenezuela en Twitter @hive_blogvzla, debían responder a la pregunta: ¿Si fueras ballena, cuales serían tus criterios de curación?. Eran 30 Hives a repartir, para 3 ganadores (10 hives cada uno), cortesía de @theycallmedan y Hive Venezuela.

Today, I want to talk about my experience in the first Giveaway I did on Twitter on the 10th of August, announce the winners and also talk to you about the Types of Curators.

This video took a while as I had to wait for my kids to fall asleep, turn up the volume on the horns 🤣 or read what I'm telling you here.

There were 64 valid entries or answers in the Twitter Giveaway, where in addition to following the @hivevenezuela account on Twitter @hive_blogvzla, they had to answer the question: If you were a whale, what would be your healing criteria? There were 30 Hives to give away, for 3 winners (10 Hives each), courtesy of @theycallmedan and Hive Venezuela.

Hablemos de los Tipos de Curadores

Tipo 1: Todos somos curadores.

Así como somos creadores y consumidores de contenido, al votar la publicación de otros, nos convertimos en curadores, independientemente de nuestro poder voto y el por que hayamos valorado ese post.

Tipo 2: Curadores de Proyectos.

Son personas que además de votar o curar con sus cuentas, pernecen o trabajan para algún proyecto de curación, donde dicho proyecto tiene un poder de voto más alto por el HP que tenga o le haya sido delegado.

Este tipo de curadores tienen sus diferentes criterios de curación, al igual que lls diferentes proyectos que existen. Bajo esos criterios, seleccionan una publicación la cual es nominada a ese proyecto y posiblemente reciba un voto del mismo.

Tipo 4: Curadores y Moderadores.

Hay curadores, que tienen programas en vivo de curaciones, por eso son también moderadores de dicho programa. Donde dn tips, enseñan e incluso corrigen, para que el usuario mejore el contenido de su blog.

También hay moderadores que no son curadores de algún proyecto, pero reciben el apoyo de alguno.

Let's talk about the Types of Curators

Type 1: We are all curators.

Just as we are creators and consumers of content, by voting on the post of others, we become curators, regardless of our voting power and why we have rated that post.

Type 2: Project Curators.

These are people who, in addition to voting or curating with their accounts, also work for a curatorial project, where this project has a higher voting power because of the HP it has or has been delegated.

These types of curators have their different curation criteria, just like the different projects that exist. Under those criteria, they select a publication which is nominated to that project and possibly receives a vote from that project.

Type 4: Curators and Moderators.

There are curators, who have live curation shows, so they are also moderators of that show. Where they give tips, teach and even correct, so that the user can improve the content of their blog.

There are also moderators who are not curators of a project, but receive support from one of them.

Hay una pregunta que muchos hacen y es...

¿Cómo ser curador de un proyecto?

Lo primero que debes hacer es, mostras constacia y ser un buen creador de contenido. Hubieron buenas respuestas en el Giveaway de Twitter, otras algo interesantes, pero de que nos vale decir "Estos serían o son mis criterios" y no cumplirlos.

Hay proyectos que ven nuestro trabajo y trayectoria en la plataforma y por ello pueden llamarte o seleccionarte como curador para su proyecto.

Cada uno tiene su forma distinta, algunas las desconozco. Pero estoy segura que si haces las cosas de la manera correcta, sin plagio, trampas o abuso, seguro alguien se fijará en ello y si nadie lo hace, recuerda que siempre que votes la publicación de otro, eres un curador.

Por último y no menos importante...

No hace falta que seas una ballena para cumplir o tener esos criterios de curación.

Recuerda también que así como respondieron esa pregunta, cada ballena, proyecto o curador, tienen sus propios criterios, algunos en común y otros diferentes, pero no por ello inválidos.

How to be a curator of a project?

The first thing you have to do is, show consistency and be a good content creator. There were some good answers in the Twitter Giveaway, some interesting ones, but what's the point of saying "These would be or are my criteria" and not meeting them.

There are projects that see our work and trajectory on the platform and therefore may call you or select you as a curator for their project.

Each one has its own way, some of them I don't know. But I'm sure that if you do things the right way, without plagiarism, cheating or abuse, someone will surely take notice and if no one does, remember that whenever you vote for someone else's publication, you are a curator.

Last but not least...

You don't have to be a whale to meet or have those curation criteria.

Remember also that just as they answered that question, every whale, project or curator, has their own criteria, some in common and some different, but not invalid.
