Hi friends of PukuMundo, for this week 6 I bring you a topic with which I have a special connection because it brings back very good memories of my childhood in the school choir and with my singing teacher.
Today Acapella accompanied by the "water stick" I leave you this ancestral song that the indigenous people recited to their Gods to obtain food and water.
I remember when I first learned it, it was very difficult for me to memorize the chorus of the song because it is in the Native American language, and then it was a delight to be part of the choral arrangement of that song a few years ago.
En las noches cuando la luna
Como plata se eleva
Y la selva ilumina
Y tambien la pradera
viejos lobos de la tribu
Cantan al gran Espiritu
Al espiritu del fuego.
Anikuni Ua ua ni
Ua ua ua nika ua ua ua
Ea la uvi visini
Ea la uvisini
Anikuni, Anijuni.....
On nights when the moon
As silver rises
And the jungle lights up
And also the prairie
old wolves of the tribe
They sing to the great Spirit
To the spirit of fire.
Anikuni Ua ua ni
Ua ua ua nika ua ua ua
Ea the uvi visini
Ea the uvisini
Anikuni, Anijuni.....
