It is a pleasure to reach week 134 in the company of many of you.
For this week for the theme in which we are invited to make our musical participations focused on forgiveness, I bring you a theme that is usually sung in the catholic masses, during the time of lent and specifically they are usually sung much more in the time of holy week. When that week arrives, they usually make the Stations of the Cross in which the first days commemorate the passion and death of Jesus. And with this, there are songs that focus on repentance and forgiveness, as is the case of the song in which God is asked to forgive us for the sins we have eaten.
Although we are about to enter the commemoration of his birth at Christmas, a time that is undoubtedly my favorite for the joy that is in the atmosphere, I like this moment of reflection that promotes the theme of this week.
As always, I hope you enjoy this interpretation in which my husband @wbrandt accompanies me once again.

PERDONA A TU PUEBLO SEÑOR
PERDONA A TU PUEBLO
Perdónale SEÑOR
No estés eternamente enojado
No estés eternamente enojado
Perdónale Señor
Por tus profundas llagas crueles
Por tus salivas y por tus hieles
Perdónale Señor
Por tus heridas de pies y manos
Por los azotes tan inhumanos
Perdónale Señor
Por los tres clavos que te clavaron
Por las espinas que te punzaron
Perdónale Señor
FORGIVE YOUR PEOPLE, LORD
FORGIVE YOUR PEOPLE
Forgive him LORD
Do not be eternally angry
Do not be eternally angry
Forgive him Lord
For your deep cruel wounds
For your spittle and for your gall
Forgive him Lord
For your wounds of feet and hands
For your inhuman scourging
Forgive him Lord
For the three nails they drove into you
For the thorns that pierced you
Forgive him Lord
