Hi my dear friends of Hive Open 🎤

Today it is a pleasure to accompany you in your 115th week. This time with the song "Pobre Negrita" performed impeccably by the group "Peru Negro".

The theme of the week "doing the work", brought to my mind this song that I sang many years ago with choral arrangement when I was part of the conservatory choir in my city, because it tells the story of forced labor of the slavery era, in particular that of a slave who is killed by her master which causes her great sadness. However, in a form of rebellion, she rises up against her master and tells him "you are nothing". I hope you can appreciate this interpretation and in the same way my song serves as a tribute to the struggle of the entire Afro-descendant community in the world.

For you "Pobre Negrita" interpreted Acapella with musical accompaniment of the percussion instrument "palo de agua".

Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive Open Mic 🎤

Hoy es un gusto acompanarles en su semana 115. En esta ocasión con el tema "Pobre Negrita" interpretada impecablemente por el grupo "Perú Negro".

La temática de la semana "haciendo el trabajo", trajo a mi mente esta canción que canté hace muchos años con arreglo coral cuando era parte del coro del conservatorio en mi ciudad, porque se narra la historia del trabajo forzoso de la época de la esclavitud, en particular la de una esclava que es matratada por su amo lo que le ocasiona un gran tristeza. Sin embargo, ella en forma de rebelión se alza contra el amo y le dice " usted no es na' ". Deseo que puedan apreciar esta interpretación y de la misma manera sirva mi canto como homenaje a la lucha de toda la comunidad afrodescendiente en el mundo.
