Una de las experiencias interesantes de mi visita a Coro, fue reunirme con el compañero Víctor Abiad @vjap55 para disputar una serie de partidas a ritmo clásico, específicamente cada jugador dispondría de 1 hora con 30 minutos, más 30 segundos de incremento por jugada. Acordamos que serían cuatro partidas, donde el primero que alcance 3 puntos gana el encuentro. Y fue así como el 04 de mayo se dio la primera partida, donde después de varias horas de lucha @vjap55 se terminó imponiendo; no obstante, hubo un momento en la partida donde yo podía asegurar fácilmente las tablas:

One of the interesting experiences of my visit to Coro, was to meet with my colleague Victor Abiad @vjap55 to play a series of classic rhythm games, specifically each player would have 1 hour and 30 minutes, plus 30 seconds of increment per move. We agreed that there would be four games, where the first to reach 3 points wins the match. And so it was that on May 4th the first game took place, where after several hours of struggle @vjap55 ended up winning; however, there was a moment in the game where I could easily secure a draw:

En esta posición de la imagen 01, simplemente el plan para las negras era cambiar el peón de “c” por el de “b”, llevar el rey a c7 y el caballo a “c6”, alcanzando así una posición en la que sería muy difícil progresar para las blancas, pero en la presión del tiempo nada de eso vi, y terminé perdiendo. A pesar de este resultado en contra, en la segunda partida me fue bastante bien:

In this position in image 01, the plan for Black was simply to exchange the "c" pawn for the "b" pawn, take the king to c7 and the knight to "c6", thus reaching a position in which it would be very difficult for White to make progress, but in the pressure of time I saw none of that, and I ended up losing. Despite this result against me, in the second game I did quite well:

Se alcanzó esta posición donde la doble amenaza a los caballos negros es indefendible, acá @vjap55 captura el peón de “c4” y posterior a esto se rinde, lo que significó que el encuentro se empatara. Y fue así como se llegó a la tercera partida, donde @vjap55 llegó con una sed de venganza increíble, imponiéndose de forma abrumadora:

This position was reached where the double threat to the black knights is indefensible, here @vjap55 captures the "c4" pawn and after this he surrenders, which meant that the match was tied. And that's how it came to the third game, where @vjap55 arrived with an incredible thirst for revenge, winning overwhelmingly:

Al alcanzar esa posición de la imagen 03, no me quedó de otra que rendirme. En la última partida tenía que salir con toda la actitud para igualar este encuentro, lamentablemente cometí muchas imprecisiones en la apertura, que me llevaron a consumir bastante tiempo en el reloj, no obstante pude llegar a una posición que podía ser tablas, pero con la presión del tiempo cometí el gran error de llevar mi torre blanca a la casilla “c”, donde posterior a eso la jugada caballo “e1” jaque de las negras, era bastante obvia.

When I reached the position of the image 03, I had no choice but to surrender. In the last game I had to go out with all the attitude to equalize this match, unfortunately I made many inaccuracies in the opening, which led me to consume a lot of time on the clock, however I could reach a position that could be a draw, but with the time pressure I made the big mistake of taking my white rook to the square "c", where after that the knight move "e1" check of black, was quite obvious.
