Un gusto traer para la comunidad deportiva de HIVE como lo es FULLDEPORTES esta cobertura deportiva enmarcada en el deporte ciencia como lo es el Ajedrez; si mi gente, estaremos compartiendo momentos importantes de una interesante concentración de ajedrecistas que se vivió el pasado fin de semana en las instalaciones de la Institución Educativa de San Martin de Socabaya, de la hermosa ciudad blanca de Arequipa, Perú: ¡Ajedrez Arequipeño para el mundo entero!

It is a pleasure to bring to the sports community of HIVE as is FULLDEPORTES this sports coverage framed in the science sport such as Chess; yes my people, we will be sharing important moments of an interesting concentration of chess players that took place last weekend in the facilities of the Educational Institution of San Martin de Socabaya, in the beautiful white city of Arequipa, Peru: Arequipa Chess for the whole world!

Torneo que estuvo organizado por las Ligas de Ajedrez de Yanahuara y Cerro colorado, siendo importante al mismo tiempo hacer una mención especial al director de la I.E San Martin de Socabaya, el profesor Wilber Del Carpio, quien gustosamente facilitó los espacios de la institución para permitir la materialización de este importante torneo de ajedrez inter-escolar que contó con la participación de mas de 100 atletas, distribuidos en las categorías sub-6, sub-8, sub-10, sub-12, sub-14, sub-16 y mayores.

Tournament that was organized by the Chess Leagues of Yanahuara and Cerro Colorado, being important at the same time to make a special mention to the director of the I.E San Martin de Socabaya, Professor Wilber Del Carpio, who gladly facilitated the spaces of the institution to allow the materialization of this important inter-school chess tournament that counted with the participation of more than 100 athletes, distributed in the categories U-6, U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and older.

Y en medio de esta fiesta ajedrecística no pude perder la oportunidad de interactuar con los protagonistas del evento como lo son los atletas, y una de las preguntas que resaltaron fue la relativa de ¿quién creen que será el próximo campeón mundial de ajedrez? Y esto apropósito del match entre los grandes maestros Ding Liren y Gukesh, a celebrarse del 20 de noviembre al 14 de diciembre del presente año. Te invito a que veas el recurso audiovisual que encabeza la publicación, para que te pongas al tanto de las respuestas dadas por los ajedrecistas entrevistados.

Rodeados de tantos ajedrecistas, la emoción de jugar una partida se hizo presente, por lo que reté al maestro Arthur Cervantes de la liga de Ajedrez de Hunter, para vivir en carne propia las emociones que se desprenden de una partida de ajedrez, como las tantas que se disputaron en este torneo, donde tuvimos una importante presencia de atletas que participaron en la categoría mayores, donde quiero hacer una mención especial a mi amigo y maestro Rodrigo Viveros, quien me apoyó en algunas capturas de videos.

Surrounded by so many chess players, the excitement of playing a game was present, so I challenged the master Arthur Cervantes of the Hunter Chess League, to experience firsthand the emotions that come from a game of chess, like the many that were played in this tournament, where we had a significant presence of athletes who participated in the senior category, where I want to make a special mention to my friend and teacher Rodrigo Viveros, who supported me in some video captures.

Estoy sorprendido por la cantidad de talentos en ajedrez que tenemos en la región de Arequipa, a seguir trabajando fuerte chicos, y es bonito inculcar esta disciplina en los niños, por todos los beneficios que la misma proporciona para el desarrollo intelectual, profesional y social de ellos, así que sembremos esta hermosa disciplina en los mas pequeños de la casa.

I am surprised by the amount of talent in chess that we have in the region of Arequipa, to continue working hard guys, and it is nice to instill this discipline in children, for all the benefits that it provides for the intellectual, professional and social development of them, so let's sow this beautiful discipline in the smallest of the house.

Y a propósito de esta idea, quiero compartir con todos ustedes una gran emoción que me embarga y es que me siento orgulloso de que mi pupilo Gerald Cuno lograra se campeón de las categorías sub – 6 y sub – 8 , perdiendo pocas partidas, una de estas derrotas fue enfrentando a la fuerte atleta Mia Delgado campeona de la categoría Sub – 10, y representante del rostro femenino del ajedrez arequipeño, así como también lo son las atletas Amira, Luciana y Ariana, y todas las chicas que dijeron presente en este torneo inter-escolar.

And about this idea, I want to share with all of you a great emotion that overwhelms me and I am proud that my pupil Gerald Cuno managed to become champion of the U-6 and U-8 categories, losing a few games, one of these defeats was against the strong athlete Mia Delgado, champion of the U-10 category, and representative of the female face of Arequipa chess, as well as athletes Amira, Luciana and Ariana, and all the girls who were present in this inter-school tournament.
