Comenzando el mes de mayo mi gente linda de FullDeportes con un nuevo campeón mundial de ajedrez, y es que el Gran Maestro Ding Liren se proclamó campeón mundial de esta disciplina el pasado 30 de abril al vencer en una emocionante partida de desempate al Gran Maestro Ian Nepomniachtchi, y en torno a esta partida giran las interacciones con los protagonistas del evento de ajedrez desarrollado el pasado 01 de mayo en las instalaciones del Club Independencia, de la ciudad blanca de Arequipa.
Un torneo de ajedrez efectuado bajo la modalidad rápida, es decir, 15 minutos para cada jugador sin incremento de tiempo por jugada; en este enlace podrás ver los pormenores de este torneo que reunió a diversas generaciones del ajedrez arequipeño. Apreciamos a dos grandes de esta disciplina en la región como lo son los maestros Raúl Diaz y Gregorio Hualpa, así como también las nuevas generaciones de jóvenes, que tienen esa misión crecer cada día mas en el deporte de las 64 casillas.

La emoción de los torneos de ajedrez es fascinante, tanto para jugadores como espectadores, y en mi rol particular de creador de contenido deportivo para la blockchain de HIVE, es placentero poder interactuar con los jugadores después de las partidas, hablar sobre los acontecimientos más recientes del ajedrez mundial; y es que hablar del ajedrez es sin lugar a dudas un privilegio, por eso es todo un deleite para mi preparar esta sección de noticiero Fulldeportivo. Vale destacar que en este torneo participaron alumnos del colegio Von Blumer, una institución educativa donde el ajedrez es un curso obligatorio. Se presenta en la imagen adjunta parte de los eventos de preparación que se celebran en el colegio, esta foto fue cortesía del director del mismo, el profesor Percy Camargo.
El director Percy Camargo es un excelente ejemplo de que cuando se dispone de ese ímpetu para masificar el deporte ciencia, las cosas se pueden lograr, en la interacción desarrollada el profesor nos habla de los beneficios del ajedrez y recalca como los padres y representantes entran en la resonancia de promover la práctica de esta disciplina en los niños, que en líneas generales experimentarán beneficios en la mejora de la concentración, capacidad de análisis, estimulación de la creatividad. Aunado a esto, el desarrollo de torneos dentro de la institución, viene a promover el espíritu competitivo de los niños, motivándolos a ver el ajedrez como una disciplina deportiva en toda la extensión de la palabra (la imagen de la premiación en el colegio de Von Blumer es cortesía del profeso Percy Camargo, director de dicha institución) y no como un simple pasatiempo.

Muchas partidas interesantes disfrutamos en este torneo, donde cada uno de los atletas muestra sus habilidades en el ajedrez rápido, modalidad que por cierto fue con la que se definió el campeonato mundial de ajedrez, que haciendo la analogía con el futbol, es el equivalente al tiempo de prórroga, dado que después de 14 arduas partidas, aún el marcador entre el gran maestro ruso y el gran maestro chino continuaba igualado.

En la interacción con el maestro Raúl Diaz, el mismo señala que no está muy a gusto con esta modalidad de desempate a través de las partidas rápidas, él le apuesta mejor a que se realice un sorteo de colores y se juegue una partida clásica más, y de persistir el resultado otra partida clásica y así sucesivamente hasta que haya un ganador. Sin embargo esto puede ser poco factible, por lo extenso que podría llegar a ser el evento, de hecho tenemos el antecedente del campeonato mundial de 1984 entre Kasparov y Karpov que después de más de 06 meses de juego aún no estaba definido un ganador, por lo que se terminó suspendiendo.

The excitement of chess tournaments is fascinating, both for players and spectators, and in my particular role as creator of sports content for the HIVE blockchain, it is a pleasure to interact with the players after the games, talking about the latest events in world chess; and talking about chess is undoubtedly a privilege, so it is a delight for me to prepare this section of Fulldeportivo news. Y a propósito de esta ronda de interacciones, tuve el honor de interactuar con varios jóvenes, promesas del ajedrez arequipeño, y es que la fuerza de juego de estos chicos es sorprendente, he podido jugar algunas partidas amistosas con ellos y así lo demuestran, ellos son Leonardo Cahuapaza, Cristian Naveros, Rodrigo Viveros, Fabricio Zapana, Raúl Díaz. Cada uno de estos jugadores nos dio sus apreciaciones sobre el reciente finalizado campeonato mundial de ajedrez clásico que dio ganador al GM Ding Liren, realizando interesantes comentarios en torno a la ultima partida del campeonato y la forma de asimilar la victoria el gran maestro chino.
