    ENGLISH

Excellent start of the week my beautiful people MUSIC, pleased to present the cover of a beautiful theme of Venezuelan folklore as it is "Como Llora una Estrella" composed by the master Antonio Carrillo, interpreting this time the melody on recorder and accompaniment in Cuatro. The song is in D minor which is the relative of F major, normally to obtain the relative of a minor key we start from the major tonic, and calculate its sixth, which in this case would be D. By the way that I am taking up the guitar again, I hope to be sharing with all of you these musical harmony tips later on.

And in the same vein, I take advantage of this musical presentation to share some behind the scenes of the production, especially the one concerning the CUATRO accompaniment. It is worth mentioning that the rhythm of "Como Llora una Estrella" is a waltz rhythm, that is to say, it is governed by a ¾ time signature. In that sense, the basic meter would be built by 03 quarter notes.

From the understanding of the rhythmic basis of what the left hand does in the accompaniment, we can awaken our ingenuity to work on the "repiques" when accompanying, as in this case, where I have thought of making 04 beats in eighth note time, leaving a quarter note rest at the end of the measure that makes up the "repique". And this shows the importance that when we understand the basis of what we are doing, the limit to the imagination is set by us.

The audiovisual resource closes with this nice cover, which brings me many memories, especially because it is the musical background that I use when I recite the Mother's Day poetry "La Cuenta que no da Na", and now I will be able to use a musical background made by myself for that purpose. I hope this written audiovisual production has been very useful for you, let me know in the comments section your opinions about it. Until next time my beautiful people, long live the Music!
