Hi, I normally do this in horizontal form so it can fit on three speak long videos. But I prefer like so. I should assemble my things here near the computer so I can go back, if I want to go back to create proper content, vlogs and such. But I digress. That's another mission for another day. One of the good things of Snappy is that you can be inspired to create content from others, either on Snappy or other blog posts and so on. So I've been snapping around earlier with someone. I'll try to share the Snap below. And it was funny for me, and I'll tell you the story after. The question was, would you rather have a difficult boss who pays well, or a great boss who pays less. Why this is what's funny for me. July August, a year ago, around this time, I quit my job with no idea, no plan B, because I can leave you my answer, there's no money. in a world enough for my mental stability. And the answer would be I would rather have a better boss and get paid less. So my story was, I was in a very bad environment. And I also, I was tolerating it. for a while because I was afraid to lose the mental, I lose it in a way, my financial stability, because I have a son, I have a family to take care. And it was stable, it was, it was, it was, how do you say in English, it was, it was, I forgot the English word, the contract, it wasn't time limited, it was, because I was there more than a year, more than three, six months contract, and then you turn on into an effective contract. I don't know if in English, it's the same as in Portuguese, but... You understand, it's midnight, bear with me. And if I was alone without any kids and such, I would quit right away. But there are so many things, and that's why so many people tolerate their jobs, even though it's a bad environment. But it reached to a point myself that I was in a stage of a burnout, if not depression. I didn't get diagnosed, so I self-diagnosed with burnout. And because I was suffering from moral abuse, if not verbal, any now and then. but more of a moral abuse. And it was making me feel doubt of myself and feeling bad. And I also tolerated it, tolerated it because it was my job job, my dream job. I'm a massage therapist. I was taking care of people. I was managing, but it reached to a point that they were against my morals, against my, against my, the politics of my profession, against my morals. And it was, my mental health at that time was so bad. It reached to a rock, one of the rock buttons was, I was in a stage of apathy in front of my son. My son, who were talking about his day, all happy, and I was entering in a cruise control, automatic nodding. But I was listening, but I wasn't. And there was a day that he grabbed me and tries to wake me up in a way. Mom, Mom, are you okay? He started to scream. It reached to a point, that point. And that's why I had to do something before it was too late. So I made the scariest decision at that time. and quit my job without any plan B. And fortunately, I have my husband as well, he took the reins so I could try to heal myself and rest and so on. I was in a very bad shape. At that time, I... I tried to create content here on Hive back then. I did some videos about it. It was a way for me to take out of my chest. It was a very scary moment. In terms of payment, it wasn't that good. It was the basic salary, but I was afraid of losing it anyway, because I have a family, again, a family to take care. But it was scary to make that decision, but it was the best decision in the world. A month later, without... without looking through, because I was trying to focus on myself, I found a new job. It's the same. I'm doing it. I will turn one year next month that I'm there. Much better environment. They pay a little bit better, so many wins. I feel so much better. I've been taking care more of myself. So my reply to this snap. was there is not enough money in the world that pays my mental stability. And whatever you need to do, do it for you, even if it takes, even if you need to leave something or someone behind, do it for yourself. I know it's not easy, it depends story to story. This is my story. And the important is to take care of yourself, so you can take care of your, of yours, of your people, even better. So, yeah, I think that's it for today. Love you all.

@katriel1: Wow, what a difficult decision. I would choose a peaceful job even if the pay isn't great; my peace of mind comes first.

@afrikens: Awwnn 🥰 It's good to see how my snap inspired you to create another vlog and I'm sure others would learn from the experience you shared. Your comments stayed with me even if it's what I built my decision back then over as well. No amount of money or fear of financial instability is greater than my mental stability. I come first, I love myself first and every other thing can follow even if I have to leave things or people behind in the process. Thank you for sharing this and I wish you more wins @elianaicgomes
