    Welcome to the CTP Blueprint Weekly!

    Let's get back to business! Or marketing! Or somewhere in between!

    On my last week of vacation, last Friday I was able to attend live the latest The CryptoManiacs Podcast and @mba2020 asked about Funnels, or Marketing Funnels, so I thought it would be nice to go in more depth about it because there is a lot to talk and not everyone is familiar or still understand what it is all about besides being an object used to pass liquids to bottles and such lol

    But before we get into it, let's start with the definition:

    > A marketing funnel is a roadmap laid out by you, your business, to guide potential followers/subscribers/members/customers from their first interaction with you to becoming a superfan/paying customer.



    An example of a very simple funnel or plan is using a blog post that links to a landing page where they can subscribe to your mailing list and it converts into a subscriber.

    So I spent the afternoon while working at the Spa reception researching and taking notes and in the middle of millions of funnels, graphics and definitions out there, I resumed into 6 Cores of the Marketing Funnel!

    Awareness

    The objective of the first funnel core is to inform your target audience that you, your brand, your business exists, explain in detail its functions, and improve both brand recognition and visibility by being helpful. You will implement content strategies to attract people and make them receptive to future interactions.

    Interest

    Here you nurture the relationship through quality targeted content, pulling people towards you so they can learn more about you and your business and check for more content that resonates with them. People might engage with you so keep that engagement flowing so you can get followers or even subscribers to your mailing list.

    Consideration

    Kind of a "mid-push", here you can share more info about your business and what you are offering through more content either blog posts, email campaigns, etc while continuing to nurture the relationship by showing them why do they need you and how can it work with them.

    Action/Conversion

    Your content has definitely helped those in the previous stages to think about having a quick solution to their recurring issues. The funnel is now smaller because you can identify the candidates who will strongly consider purchasing. In the Conversion core, you have to urge them to make a subscription/purchase. Once the relationship is well established, you can pitch them. Push content with a strong call-to-action and a simple path to follow to complete the subscription/sale.

    Loyalty

    If you want to make sure your followers/members stay loyal, then give them excellent content! Keep building the relationship through community development, brand/business development, engagement and outreach. And they will as well develop a preference for you and for the brand.

    Advocacy

    This is where Superfans are born! and the most effective marketing medium today is still word-of-mouth or referral marketing. You will trust the statement of a person close to you rather than the statement of a biased owner. Advocates will spread the word about you and your brand and share their experience through content, helping direct more people to your funnel.

    So the main idea is to really understand what's your goal and make a plan to focus your audience towards that goal!
    Building a brand and a mailing list is crucial to this plan, so is content creation! Like everything in life and business, things change by the second so adapt/adjust/improve your plan for better results constantly! the funnel is a good metric system.
