A few days ago I was watering the plants and this butterfly came out of them. It landed on a wall and then went down to a fern leaf, making me think it wanted water.

The first time I saw such a specimen it was sitting on a pile of dry leaves. I was able to photograph it then, but I could only make out a white stripe on the dorsal side of its wings.
