Saludos a todos en esta bella comunidad de Hive arte en donde hoy me encuentro aquí participando por primera vez en la iniciativa que nos proponen titulada “Un regalo para mamá” con la invitación de mi preciada compañera @avdesing a quien le agradezco me haya presentado la misma. Si bien es cierto que hay países como en el que vivo yo que es Argentina donde el día de la madre se celebra recién en octubre, nunca está de más hacerle un presente a la mujer que nos dio la vida y aprovechar esta oportunidad para darle algo hecho a mano.

Greetings to everyone in this beautiful community of Hive art where today I am here participating for the first time in the initiative that we propose entitled "A gift for mom" with the invitation of my precious companion @avdesing whom I thank for introducing me to it. While it is true that there are countries like the one I live in, Argentina, where Mother's Day is celebrated only in October, it never hurts to give a present to the woman who gave us life and take this opportunity to give her something handmade.

Como a mí me gusta hacer manualidades con papel, y aclarando que la idea original no es 100% mía, estuve navegando en internet y me cruce con un video sobre cómo hacer un corazón con mensajes interiores para San Valentín. Pero tratándose del día de la madre, no estaba mal la idea de un corazón aunque seguí buscando y me cruce con varios tutoriales de flores de papel con mensajes interiores, ramos o flores sueltas. Debo decir que me gustó la idea de una flor que se abre y tiene oculto mensajes dedicados a mama así que decidí aprender a hacerlas y compartirlas con ustedes.

As I like to make crafts with paper, and clarifying that the original idea is not 100% mine, I was surfing the internet and I came across a video on how to make a heart with inner messages for Valentine's Day. But since it was Mother's Day, the idea of a heart was not bad, although I kept looking and I came across several tutorials of paper flowers with inner messages, bouquets or single flowers. I must say that I liked the idea of a flower that opens and has hidden messages dedicated to mom so I decided to learn how to make them and share them with you.

Vi muchos videos y trate de hacerlas pero durante el proceso hubo catástrofes que les quiero compartir.

Mientras veía como otros creadores hacían diferentes pimpollos que se abren, iba intentando hacerlo también y debo decir que me sorprendió que al primer intento me haya salido decente así que me fui directo a grabar el aprendizaje que había adquirido y aquí surgieron los problemas.

• Primero quise darle un toque diferente, hacerla de tamaños miniatura y de diferentes colores, pero esto no resulto porque el papel que tengo es muy pequeño y se me rompía, además no me alcanzaba el espacio para escribir. Tampoco me servía el pegamento que usaba, porque al ser un papel fino, se humedecía demasiado y como se imaginaran, se me rompieron un montón de flores. ¡Pero que desperdicio de papel!
• Debido a lo anterior decidí mantener la ida original y usar un papel más grande y grueso pero blanco, ya no de color porque no consigo. Seguí el paso a paso, per al momento de darle forma al pimpollo, realmente no parecía un pimpollo sino más bien algo que invoque de otra dimensión. ¡Más papel desperdiciado!
• No puedo dejar de mencionar que seguí intentándolo pero en un momento había pasos que me olvida de realizar y quedaba horrible el resultado final. ¡A la basura más papel!
• Casi me rindo, pero me tome una pausa y decidí empezar de cero más tranquila y respetando la idea original, así que finalmente pude no solo grabar el video, sino que también pude hacer un pimpollo decente con corazones de diferentes colores en su interior y quede conforme con el resultado. ¡Eureka!

Papeles utilizados (Papers used)

I watched many videos and tried to make them but during the process there were catastrophes that I want to share with you.

While I was watching how other creators were making different buds that open, I was trying to do it too and I must say that I was surprised that at the first attempt it came out decent so I went straight to recording the learning I had acquired and here the problems arose.

• First I wanted to give it a different touch, to make it in miniature sizes and different colors, but this did not work because the paper I have is too small and it would tear, and I did not have enough space to write. The glue I used didn't work either, because being a thin paper, it got too wet and as you can imagine, I broke a lot of flowers. What a waste of paper!

• Because of the above I decided to keep the original way and use a bigger and thicker paper but white, no longer colored because I can't get it. I followed the step by step, but at the moment of shaping the rosebud, it didn't really look like a rosebud but more like something I invoked from another dimension. More wasted paper!

• I can't help but mention that I kept trying but at one point there were steps that I forgot to do and the end result looked horrible. To the trash more paper!

• I almost gave up, but I took a break and decided to start from scratch more calmly and respecting the original idea, so finally I could not only record the video, but I could also make a decent rosebud with hearts of different colors inside and I was happy with the result. Eureka!

Este fue el proceso de aprendizaje y la puesta en práctica con sus fallos y solo vengo a mostrarles el paso a paso y el resultado final ya que el resto lo tire a la basura pero ahora pienso que habría sido interesante mostrarles los fallos también.

This was the learning process and the implementation with its failures and I only come to show you the step by step and the final result since the rest I threw away but now I think it would have been interesting to show you the failures as well.
