Bienvenidos mis buenos amigos de Hive, espero el día de hoy se encuentren excelente y con muchas ganas de aprender porque en el video de hoy les traigo nuevo vocabulario en ingles sobre prendas de vestir. Vamos a ir desde la cabeza a los pies, entre joyas, accesorios, estilos y más.

Welcome my good friends of Hive, I hope today you are feeling great and eager to learn because in today's video I bring you new vocabulary in English about clothing. We are going to go from head to toe, between jewellery, accessories, styles and more.

In the world of fashion we can find a great variety of garments and fabrics, in this video I clarify that I only put some of them, the most known and common so to speak, but there are a lot of dress fabrics that even I don't know, only a fashion expert would know or someone who is studying it.

Hablando un poco de mi gusto a la hora de vestir, nunca fui una persona muy al pendiente de la moda y casi nunca use lo que en su momento estaba en onda, esto no quiere decir que nunca lo haya hecho. Tuve mi momento de querer estar dentro de la moda pero fue un breve periodo de tiempo.

La mayor parte de mi vida hasta la actualidad, y creo que por muchos años más, siempre me gusto la ropa sencilla y holgada. Muchos han mencionado que no se vestir o que uso ropa de anciana o estilo vintage, otros me han dicho que cualquier prenda que luzca me queda bien y tengo “percha” para vestir, sigo sin entender que significa esa expresión.

Talking a bit about my taste in clothes, I was never a very fashion conscious person and almost never wore what was fashionable at the time, this doesn't mean that I never did. I had my moment of wanting to be into fashion but it was a brief period of time.

For most of my life to the present day, and I think for many years to come, I have always liked simple, loose fitting clothes. Many have mentioned that I don't know how to dress or that I wear old lady or vintage style clothes, others have told me that whatever I wear I look good in and I have the "hangers" to wear, I still don't understand what that expression means.

A lo que voy con esto es que si ustedes tienen un estilo de vestir que les gusta pero es mal visto, o bien visto o lo que sea por los demás, no lo cambien a menos que ustedes decidan hacerlo porque o ya no les gusta o quieren probar otra cosa.

What I mean by this is that if you have a style of dress that you like but is frowned upon, or well-liked or whatever by others, don't change it unless you decide to do so because you either don't like it anymore or want to try something else.
