Han sido días bastante complicados para mí, pero aun así, siempre he dicho y lo sigo mantengo, la música es el ingrediente que nos da la paz que muchas veces necesitamos. En esta ocasión, les traigo con mucho sacrificio otro cover del gran Armando Manzanero. Sí, definitivamente, no me había dado cuenta de las bellas y exquisitas composiciones que este gran artista nos dejó para la historia. Ya muchos deben saber la historia que logré conocer el trabajo de él gracias a un regalo de mi madre en mi adolescencia. Regalo, que no le había dado el valor que se merecía hasta ahora. Y es que escuchar cada mañana las obras de este gran mexicano, es casi una rutina que, sin darme cuenta, he tomado. Tengo mucho, mucho tiempo haciendo esto, escuchando y disfrutando del legado que ha dejado Manzanero.

I have been doing this for a long, long time, listening to and enjoying the legacy that Manzanero has left behind.}

Una de las razones por la que me gusta el trabajo de Manzanero, son sus composiciones claras y directas. Son canciones cortas, pero con un mensaje que sí, definitivamente, llegan al alma y se quedan tatuadas en el corazón. Le ha cantado al amor como nadie lo ha hecho. Con él, y ese Bolero apasionado que crea, hemos aprendido que podemos irnos mañana mismo de este mundo. Y con frases como esta, es que Armando Manzanero, se ha convertido es uno de los artistas más respetado en el mundo. Tanto así, que hasta sus composiciones se han versionado en varios idiomas, incluyendo el chino.

Personalmente, le doy las gracias a este señor que ha demostrado de generación en generación que la magia existe. Pues nos dejó una tarea hermosa cuando se marchó, seguir cantando sus canciones con el mismo amor que él lo hacía y de esa manera, mantener vivo su legado. Gracias, mil gracias por toda la música que nos dejaste…
