Today I finished a week quite full of work, full of a bit of stress as well, but with good results. Since Wednesday I have been working in a recording studio recording voices for Mirna Ríos of various songs that we have been producing since the beginning of the year, however that same Wednesday night, Mr. Carlos Bereciartu (also a singer), had the idea to record a Christmas theme to which a video would be recorded for a local channel in Barquisimeto (City of Venezuela) called Promar TV.

Due to the little time we had to record the song, on Thursday we had to put it together from scratch in the studio, which I don't usually do, since I always make arrangements beforehand and make a demo with a base percussion that makes recording easier. of all musical instruments; In this case, together with the metronome, we recorded a piano together with the lead voice, giving the pianist (who in this case was not me) freedom to accompany using whatever harmony he or she considered.

That day at night I decided to rest, and the next morning to elaborate the arrangement for a string quartet, which I started doing on Friday at 5 am. Because at 9 am we had a recording schedule, the arrangement was not complex, I only elaborated phrases that were generally en bloc (except for the principle that was elaborated in counterpoint), respecting the harmony proposed by the pianist; That same day we recorded 3 violin voices, some guitars and one of the solo voices.

That night I traveled to the city where I live, which is San Felipe, to be able to program drums and record other instruments and effects, to be able to arrive on Saturday with that data, mount bass and record other guitars that were needed, with the end of that same afternoon. sit down to edit and mix with the engineer.

It was actually done in record time, and for that little time it was done, I think the audio was pretty good, which brings me a lot of satisfaction.

Today, we are dedicated to recording the video; We used various settings, a shopping center called Trinitarias, the lobby of the Trinitarias Suites hotel and a tourist town called Cumbre Encadada. Actually I apologize because I do not have photographs of the first two scenarios, however, the last and in my experience in the last scenario if I took some photographs, it seemed a lovely place to spend a pleasant weekend, since said little town Tourist is actually an inn.
