Greetings to all the friends of Hive, at this moment I bring you a theme that I have liked practically since it came out, it is called Farolito from the Venezuelan group Voz Veis, a group that unfortunately separated but its most important composers and performers continue to make musical life under the name of San Luis.
It's the first time I sing it in public, although I studied it when it first came out. To make it more enjoyable and a little easier to interpret, I added some choirs, similar to the original theme, but that do not appear in the video, because it was not very easy for me to add them to the video, also because I am not a singer I recorded them several times until it came out, I was wrong too many times when doing it, hehehehe; however I liked the result which I hope you like too.
Yo pintaba nuevas pecas a tu vientre
Y me juraste regresar algún verano
Here I share the lyrics of the song:
I still remember the lantern on the corner
Tenderly illuminated my lies
I wasn't sixteen like I said
I was a child of candy age
You kissed me before the moon and my two cousins
Blushing even the clothes I had
Tender lips that killed my vigil
Toys were stolen in those days
Soccer matches with my friends
I traded them for kisses and some cigarettes
I was a God who made summer on your cheek
An astronaut between your Aphrodite breasts
And they go, they go inside
Your memories are stars that
They don't stop raining
We went late to look at the daylight
We were running out of time in so much nonsense
I painted new freckles on your belly
You invented a way to love me
He conjugated with Neruda and his words
A spell so that you will never leave
And you did it without warning that morning
In which the world was the corral of my misfortune
And you swore to return to me some summer
I swear I stayed glued to the lantern
Never a man missed you this way
Never a child adored you that way
Oh pretty girl you left me in my pockets
Sad aroma of kisses and cigarettes
I was a God who made summer on your cheek
An astronaut between your Aphrodite breasts
And they go, they go inside
Your memories are stars that
They don't stop raining
And they go, they go inside
Your memories are stars that
They don't stop raining
Your stars never never stop raining
