First, I have to apologize to @eugelys, I have been working on this song for at least 6 months now, lol ! Congratulation on earning 1 HIVE!! woop woop!

I am happy I am done with it though, I am not going to lie! There were a first studio version recorded few months ago, it was supposed to be a duo with @mipiano, but she found the bridge too tricky, and probably my recording wasn't on par neither!
Let's be honest, this bridge is a nightmare, but I got away with it haha on this live performance.

And then it modulates to a different key, which makes the song even harder.
The original version of the artist Labrinth is heavily autotuned, but it sounds great, I think it works better with it!

About this version, I am not fully happy with it, as I made a few mistakes there and there, I was actually very excited because I was staring at a deer, that did not move for a long time, looking at me singing.
He must have been a few yards/meter away from me.

Prior to record this version, there were 2 more versions recorded earlier when the first rays of lights descended upon the land, but I used the wrong microphone during the recording, and it made the take unusable.
I was so mad at myself and ready to give up, I was so focused on keeping the fire alive, that I forgot to focus on what matters, the recording!

I went back home frustrated, and my dear lovely wife, just said these words: "The fire can be rekindled", and nothing else.

I know exactly what she meant!

Just a word on this song, great song by Labrinth, some part of his inspiration comes from his relationship with his father, of course not all of the lyrics can be applied in that context, me personnaly I feel the song has an incredible drama to it, I would urge you to listen to the original, as Labrinth has a particular tone in his voice that is very touching.
