How to make a jewelry box out of fomi and cardboard [ENG+ESP]

Greetings craft friends. A few days ago I realized that my wife stores a lot of things in one container, and you can easily find jewelry next to a bottle of nail polish or makeup. To make her life a little easier, I decided to create a container where I can store some things and prevent them from getting lost. So today I bring you a tutorial where I will show you step by step how to make a chest that will serve as an organizer, jewelry box or container to store small things. The chest is made from recycled fomi and cardboard, and decorated with thermoformed fomi figures.

Fomi thermoforming can be done using molds or by molding the shape with our hands. However, the latter technique can be dangerous, as there is a risk of burns. It is advisable to practice with scraps of fomi to avoid wasting any piece, since if we make a mistake and we have to reheat the fomi, many times it will not be the same.

Saludos amigos de las manualidades. Hace unos días me di cuenta de que mi esposa almacena muchas cosas en un solo recipiente, y fácilmente puedes encontrar joyas junto a un frasco de esmalte de uñas o maquillaje. Para hacerle la vida un poco más fácil, decidí crear un recipiente donde pueda almacenar algunas cosas y evitar que se extravíen. Así que el día de hoy les traigo un tutorial donde les mostraré paso a paso cómo confeccionar un cofre que servirá como organizador, joyero o recipiente para almacenar pequeñas cosas. El cofre está hecho de fomi y cartón reciclado, y adornado con figuras de fomi termoformado.

El termoformado de fomi se puede realizar utilizando moldes o moldeando la forma con nuestras manos. Sin embargo, esta última técnica puede ser peligrosa, ya que existe el riesgo de sufrir quemaduras. Es recomendable practicar con retazos de fomi para evitar desperdiciar alguna pieza, puesto que si nos equivocamos y debemos volver a calentar el fomi, muchas veces no quedará igual.
