Hello Hive open mic fam, it's me again and this time I am doing a cover of a song that has been hard for me to score with the piano. I thought the progression of the song continued the same way all through the song as Cmaj, Gmaj, Amin, and then Fmaj. I played it for my girlfriend and she got bored of having me modulate off-key and then she said, "go and score it"...

I searched for the chords and when I found out I was wrong it hit me like DAAAH!!

I spent up to an hour rewiring my brain to play Cmaj and Dmin before continuing with Gmaj, Amin, and then Fmaj.

There was also this bridge that I would just continue with the rubbish I was playing in.

When I was learning how to play the guitar, I had a friend who would shout shut up (Taah!~hausa) whenever I'd go offkey while singing...

I am sure this was one of the songs that would make him get tired of me.

I'm glad I finally scored it after one hour and I fond my melody while singing too.

The song

The song is about a broken relationship between an abuser and his lover. It doesn't even seem like that because of the melody. But this man had physically abused his lover months ago and she was talking to a guy he felt slightly intimidated by.

He describes the guy as Sunglasses sort of like when Ed Sheeran talked about that guy in new in his song New man. He teases the guy for wearing dark shades at night. I don't know why people do that. To look cool maybe...or they are blind? Don't know.

In the story, the guy and his friend get super wasted and he needs someone to carry him home, cause his lover probably left with the guy in sunglasses.

Here is something weird...New man sounds like the continuation of that girl's story...Fun right?

Hola familia de micrófono abierto de Hive, soy yo de nuevo y esta vez estoy haciendo un cover de una canción que me ha costado mucho tocar con el piano. Pensé que la progresión de la canción continuó de la misma manera a lo largo de la canción que Cmaj, Gmaj, Amin y luego Fmaj. La canción trata sobre una relación rota entre un abusador y su amante. Ni siquiera lo parece por la melodía. Pero este hombre había abusado físicamente de su amante meses atrás y ella estaba hablando con un chico por el que se sentía un poco intimidado.

Describe al tipo como Gafas de sol como cuando Ed Sheeran habló sobre ese tipo en nuevo en su canción New man. Se burla del chico por usar tonos oscuros por la noche. No sé por qué la gente hace eso. Para verse bien tal vez ... ¿o son ciegos? No lo se.
