This week we laid Dr Chinelo to rest. She was my senior in school and she got shot during the attack that took place on the Kaduna Abuja rail road.

I really can not tell you how it makes me feel. Just like she did, I had plans of going to the North to hustle for a better life there and leave the country.

She must have said all that God forbids, she must have prayed against a moment like this but Nigeria still made it happen.

Sometimes I think about this country and it makes me want to run...but here is someone who had everything ready to leave and Nigeria didn't let her.

That same day, many other people died and would have died...it was a matter of timing.

The saddest part of all this

The government is trying to hide it. Hospitals were being flooded with victims but on the news was another thing.

I really hate it in this country. I really hope we all can make it passed the time we spend in this country and not have the country happen to us.

Esta semana sepultamos al Dr. Chinelo para que descanse. Era mi último año en la escuela y le dispararon durante el ataque que tuvo lugar en la vía férrea de Kaduna Abuja.

Realmente no puedo decirte cómo me hace sentir. Al igual que ella, yo tenía planes de ir al norte para luchar por una vida mejor allí y dejar el país. Ella debe haber dicho todo lo que Dios prohíbe, debe haber orado en contra de un momento como este, pero Nigeria aún lo hizo posible.

A veces pienso en este país y me dan ganas de correr... pero aquí hay alguien que tenía todo listo para irse y Nigeria no la dejó. Ese mismo día, muchas otras personas murieron y habrían muerto... era una cuestión de tiempo.

Lo mas triste de todo esto El gobierno está tratando de ocultarlo. Los hospitales estaban inundados de víctimas, pero en las noticias era otra cosa. Realmente lo odio en este país. Realmente espero que todos podamos hacer que pase el tiempo que pasamos en este país y que el país no nos suceda a nosotros.
