The Beauty of Now + Rune Reading

Today marks the 28th anniversary of my mother's passing and I feel blessed, for she always stands with me. I managed to let the pain go years ago thanks to my spiritual work and that's brought me great peace. I enjoy my present moment as much as I can, and I do that by acknowledging what I've left behind and also recognizing the challenges of the times we're going through. This is my message for you today: letting go is hard but indispensable for change and growth, and we absolutely need to adapt to how things are flowing around us, or else we'll always be uncomfortable, in pain.

Today's Rune is Ehwaz and it brings a powerful message about facing the darkness, reflecting on our course of action in order to redirect our energies, to shift our perspectives about the happenings of our surroundings and to focus on the work of every instant instead of on a distant result and consequences we can't control. Facing the fear is inevitable for progress. The crossing through the Shadow brings wisdom without which the cycles will only repeat themselves. If you wish to break the chain and move freely, you must enter the dark and disarm its power with Light. Reconsider, it is a good time to change course, decrease the speed and meditate on what happens; there are trains of action that will only bring you greater sorrow if you persist. The celestial orbits do not exist by mere chance, the coherence between your experience and the stations of the sky are no coincidence. Blood flows and it is sometimes spilled, this is an unavoidable fact of change; you may redistribute your loads and let go of weights, but you cannot alter the nature of the path, only accept it. Recognize your surroundings, the landscape and its rhythms, colors and sounds speak to you of truths that are both beautiful and applicable. Concentrate on the steps that you are taking, not the result that you seek; you may choose your actions, but not their consequences.
