The Fruits of Fear + Rune Reading

Russia's officially in Ukraine now and everyone wonders what's next. Sadly, I don't have good news for you, it's just going to get worse from now on and some nations will feel it more than others. However, we do have a choice: we can engage in the conflict and, through our own rage, continue to foster misunderstanding and violence; or we can encourage the growth and building of new things, the pursuit of honest passions. There's a lot more people in this world willing to evolve and learn, to listen and cooperate, than there are troublemakers and oppressors.

Today's Rune is Algiz inverted and the message is that of inevitable exposure in the current context. Material concerns can no longer be our focus, we have to seek out something deeper, the truth that beating in our chests. We must also find ways to accept the difficulties we're seeing and to integrate varied visions.

From my small corner of the world, I want to see kindness and dignity, I choose to support Light and Love, to share it with everyone who'll listen and pay attention. We seriously need to work together, and if I can help get that point across with this work even to one person, I'm satisfied. Fear only begets fear, violence only causes violence. Let's change the tack, break the patterns and habits of our species; let's try something better, higher and greater!
