When your body is alive, but your mind isn't so sure...lol

Human beings are very interesting creatures, are they not?

And the minds of those human beings... wow! I'm amazed at the plasticity of the human brain. You know?

The things that it can be subjected to and withstand - and the ways that it learns to cope to protect its fragile host! LOL

This last month has not only been difficult for me! So many have been in my DMs with so much suffering, asking for prayer and counsel and just a friend to be with them during these times... and I've just been bombarded with this sense of "my gosh, how much more can we all take!"

Do you feel it too??

All suffering is SO different. Some is physical, some - emotional. Some is a struggle for our very lives. But the thing that connects it all is the undeniable and unbelievable amounts of stress that our mind endures.

Extended periods of stress is so bad for the body. It's no joke that it's called the "silent killer" because continuous, intense stress will literally break down every system in the body until it eventually does lead to your death.

But for short periods of time, stress can help us, in my opinion. It can cause you to pause, reflect, and re-evaluate. It can push us to the point where we are forced to REST. It can be the game-changer that helps you to readjust your course and possibly even help you to change destinations.

I tried to video my reflection on this process... and if ANYONE gets anything out of these next few videos... I'll be shocked. hahahaha

Because its one thing to experience it and let it mold you.. it's a whole new ballgame to try to unpack that and share it with others in a coherent way! LOL

But I'll try to do just that over the next few days, and then... I'll be free to get back to making more of my "fun" videos... I think :)
