Woke up 2 days ago and decided we should get up and get out..where? hmmm lake? how long??? hmmm bring clothes for an overnight! Let's go!!!

It's kinda fun to have LOTS of pictures to share... so many that I can't put them all into one post. hahaha

There is always a balance of that right? You take all these pics and you're like ooooooo I wanna share them all.

but then you know people are just scrolling through the pics LOLOL (kinda like when my parents come home from vacation and they have a 3 hour slideshow of their vacation)

I so wish I was kidding. LOL

It's always a guess who will be the first to say OK PAPA WRRRRRRRRRAP IT UP!!!

hahaha I don't want to do that to you all - so, I'll drop a few cool ones, and then save them for other posts in the future.

However... I DID make some video too. hehehe

It's 6 minutes of us being ridiculous, having fun, singing (yep I even got a clip of @quirky.countess singing!) NOT the first 30 seconds where she is singing offkey and silly hahahahaha NOT THAT. She REALLY sings about 2-3 minutes in?

@wesphilbin you have to check out the little pillars at about 2:30. They're just like your profile picture!!! hehehe I thought of you when I saw them, and I added my own :)

hey @krazypoet - we did a lake tour! hahaha Shaver, Huntington and then Bass! so fun! thought of you!!!!

Thought this was a cool picture from a deck off the restaurant overlooking the water. My phone has the BEST colors for photos - its amazing. But whenever I transfer the picture to the computer hahaha the color totally changes! ah well. I'll eventually get it right hehehee

Isn't this car amazing??? If you watch the video - you can see Mikey ( @bbqgriffinwings ) and Sydney ( @quirky.countess ) singing in front of it - pretty cool video. The guy who owns the car came up while we were singing, and then a little crowd followed and applauded when the song was over. hehehe It was fun :)

Though we passed by Shaver Lake on the way up (and you'll see pics of that lake too) this lake here is Huntington Lake and where we spent most of the day. We were wondering if someone was actually out on that boat right now since it was anchored out there. It would have to be, right @bluefinstudios? Or else what did they do... swim to shore? hehehe tell us! Because we couldn't figure out what else could be the scenario! LOL

Here are the stone pillars @wesphilbin hehehe And there is the little rock I added in the foreground, it's a D-shaped rock leaning on diagonally on the two lower rocks :) cute , right? D for Dreemie and DreemPort and all dreemers out there hehehe.

Another shot of the pillars from further away. I loved this little one here. I really love that people come and just keep adding to them! hehehe I'm sure some will eventually topple, but it's like this fun game of long-distance JENGA hahaha - but instead of removing ... they add! It feels so cool to know that you're a part of that effort, and knowing that someone will come along and build on top of your pieces too! :)

I LOVE when this happens with trees. I'm sure it's not great for the tree - and it will probably eventually cause the tree to fall, if it can't send some roots out deeper into the dirt to stabilize itself - BUT. when you get to see it at this stage? It seems like such a determined state! I love getting to see the network of roots all intertwined too! And I love how the tree just grows straight up and strong - despite the slope of the mountain beneath it. That's just endurance to me! hehehehe

I love how clear the water is. Depending on the time of day, and the reflection of the light, you can sometimes have the feeling that the water is just an opaque piece of glass - mysterious and moody! But when the light is just right - it can reflect the stones underneath while casting shadows from the mountain to add that beautiful contrast! Isn't this so pretty!!! I dont' want to swim in it - but i'm TEMPTED to! hahaha

This is actually the OTHER side of the cove, looking down on the water from this angle. See how the light makes all the difference? You can't even tell how clear the water is from here. But its exactly the same cove!

Below, Mikey was skipping rocks (you'll see how far he skipped them in the video if you like) and I took a panoramic picture right as he skipped one. Can you see what the camera did? hahahaha

It caught the rock in the air - and then as I slid the camera to the left, it caught the splash. It's one picture capturing two distinct moments! This one kinda reminds me of your cool picture, @tatoodjay!!! :)

Can you see it? rock in the air - but splash (of that same rock) underneath! hahaha very cool!
