I am very lucky in our walks round here. The woodland and fields that follow along the salt marshes leading from the small harbors and bays connected to the bit of sea upon which I live. This time of the year is some of the best time to wallk these areas.

I also share a veiw of my Mother in law's Pond upon which she lives. The kettle ponds here on Cape, formed by glacial movement, dot our area, giving us a lovely mix of salty open sea, brackish inlet streams and marsh and freshwater ponds such as this.
We also have fun trying out my sister in laws favourite new toy ,a fat tire bike. I'm sure it'd be awhile before we ever got such bikes ourselves, as they are a tad expensive, but I do remember our younger days when hubby and I lived without a car and relied completely on our bikes. Living down cape in a very rural area, that wasn't very bike friendly, made for interesting trasnport. Today, however, I'm happpy to use my legs to get about for my exercise and enjoyment and really we've so many pretty areas in which to walk, I never grow bored of these walks.
I hope everyone had a wonderful day and can find a moment to walk somewhere in your own area.
