How are you all? I'm sure everyone is healthy, my name is @donirosayandi,
This video is when my friend and I did a sound check at an event at a cultural park performance hall.
My friend and I played a musicalization of poetry, in which there was a musical performance accompanied by the reading of a poem.
In that performance we combined traditional Acehnese music with modern music. I play the acoustic guitar and my friend plays the flute from Central Aceh. The sound of the two is truly impressive when combined.
In addition to using modern musical instruments such as guitar, bass and drums, we usually also use various traditional Acehnese musical instruments such as the Rapa'i (a type of Aceh-framed drum), Seurune Kalee (a typical Acehnese wind instrument), Gendang (a double-sided membrane drum typical of Aceh). ), and the flute (a type of wind instrument originating from Central Aceh)
The music that we bring is entitled "Wamule", this music tells about the beginning of every human activity is by praying to God Almighty with that prayer we ask for prosperity and safety for us and those who hear it. This music is usually performed at the beginning of a traditional event, and other major events. Hopefully this sound can make you all happy, enjoy the sound
