Hi Hivers, how are you all? I'm sure we're all fine. By the way, my name is @donirosayandi, I'm a guitarist. On this occasion I will sing again for the 109th week of the Hive Open Mic #openmic contest with the theme: "Paper Kites." This theme is chosen by Spotlight Artist @elisonr13, referring to the freedom to imagine, create, feel and communicate freely. For this week's theme I have prepared a good song, a song that is bold and related to the theme, namely the song called "Paper Boat" which was popularized by "Maudy Ayunda" Perahu Kertas is a film soundtrack adapted from the novel by Dee Lestari with the same title.
This song tells the story of a woman named Kugy (Maudy Ayunda) who falls in love with Keenan (Adipati Dolken).

They first met in college. In college they live love for each other. Until suddenly when they graduated from college, Kugy and Keenan had to separate.

Kugy herself is a funny and strange woman, she believes that she is a messenger from Neptune.

Kugy, who aspires to be a fairy tale writer, studies at the Faculty of Letters. He has a unique habit, which is to make paper boats which are then washed into the river.

Meanwhile, the figure of Keenan is someone who likes to paint. He likes to draw cartoons on paper and canvas.
From initially admiring each other, Kugy and Keenan secretly fell in love with each other. Do not stop there, various obstacles hinder their love story.

"Paper Boat" not only tells a love story, but the essence of this song teaches us the spirit to achieve our dreams. This means that this work presents the dynamics of the lives of young girls and boys who give up their dreams for the sake of reality.
