As you may know, I live in a beautiful coastal city with about 92km of coastline. We have many beautiful beaches and attract a lot of tourists. But that's also the problem, not everyone is environmentally conscious, and many beautiful beaches have suffered a lot because of the garbage left behind by ignorant guests. Me and my friends including Vietnamese and expats from different countries organized garbage collection at Golden Sand beach in Son Tra peninsula of Da Nang city. This is a beautiful hidden beach, the trail to get there is quite tough, so a lot of selfish people have left a lot of garbage after they have gone there and enjoyed its beauty. We were only 10 people, but we picked up 20 bags full of trash, then we had a hard time bringing them all to the garbage collection area on the main road where the city's garbage trucks could come to collect them. However, we feel very happy and useful because we have made a small contribution to the conservation of this beautiful beach and just hope people are more environmentally conscious when coming here.
