Squid Gamez HipHop Music Video - DJ Lethal Skillz, Def Ill & Ruffian Collab

Even if you aren’t one to keep up with the latest entertainment trends, you’ve probably heard of “Squid Game.” The story serves as a metaphor to share a cynical but important view of the world’s current state and portrays a stark contrast between the lives of the players and the lives of rich men betting money on humans as they would horses as Gi-hun did. While the rich have money to gamble without thought, those who gamble for money end up staying poor. Or, in the case of the show, end up dying or are traumatized by it. These themes seem vital to understanding the point of the show.

With the official news on Season 2 of the series to come I'm uploading the official video to 3speak also as a move to start migrating my official videos to the blockchain.

About the collaboration
I collaborated with Def ill x Ruffian Rugged from Austria and we did this flip inspired by the Netflix series, hope you like it!!!

DJ Lethal Skillz and Austria’s fastest rapper Def Ill aka Ruffian Rugged teamed up for a traditional Boombapbanger with a heavy sub bassline. Somewhere between Battlerap and classical representing - Between old-school and modern Lofi. While Def Ill assisted Dj Lethal Skillz on the Coproduction, skillz assisted Def on the cut hook.

Def Ill also breaks the structure of his two personas, by sharing the track with his alter ego "Ruffian Rugged“. So each verse serves the other verse as translation.

What came out is a massive heavy banger, that turns the disstakes of regular mixtapes into Squid Games, a metaphorical Battlerap-Culture homage to the south Korean cult show. As the song, the animated art Clip & the fictional vinyl-Cover collage by "flying squabbit“ got inspired by the viral Netflix show. The alternative Covers will launch as an exclusive Fanart-Nft-Project soon.
