Greetings friends, tonight I was painting a pair of Colorín azulrosa [Passerina rositae] an endemic bird in southern Mexico, found only on the peaceful slope of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, in the states of Oaxaca and Chiapas. They are 13 cm birds and have sexual isomorphism in the part of the plumage color, the male is blue with pink spots on the chest, the females are dull brown with yellowish breast, they feed on seeds and insects, It is found in forests and thickets and its edges are dry, usually in streams with permanent water and it is usually alone or in small groups. These are data that I have looked for, I hope this beautiful bird has learned something gloomy, I always thank you for your support and I hope to see us in future publications.
Saludos amigos, esta noche estuve pintando a una pareja de Colorín azulrosa [Passerina rositae] un ave endémica del sur de México, encontrándose únicamente en la vertiente pacífica del istmo de Tehuantepec, en los estados de Oaxaca y Chiapas. Son aves de 13 cm y tienen isomorfismo sexual en la parte del color del plumaje, el macho es de color azul con manchas rosas en el pecho, las hembras son de color pardo opaco con el pecho amarillento, se alimentan de semillas e insectos; se encuentra en bosques y matorrales secos y sus bordes, comúnmente en cañadas con agua permanente y suele estar solo o en grupos pequeños. Son datos que he buscado espero hayan aprendido algo sombre esta bella ave, les agradezco su apoyo siempre y espero vernos en próximas publicaciones.
