Un cálido saludo musical a toda la comunidad de Hive.
Esta semana es de Promesas, así que tengo un compromiso con ustedes, tratar de brindar una presentación que te guste y sea de tuagrado, esa es la misión y mi promesa.Coloqué al fondo un video del arbol del tamarindo, es una fruta que mucho aquí en Venezuela pero proviene de Africa, tiene un sabor ácido y dulce, muy sabroso.

Esta cancón es un Joropo oriental titulada El Tamarindo del maestro Alberto "Beto" Valderrama Patiño. A quien tengo el placer de conocer personalmente.

Acerca del Autor:
Músico (cuatrista, guitarrista, y mandolinista) y compositor Alberto Valderrama Patiño, conocido como Beto Valderrama, nació en El Cercado, en la Isla de Margarita Edo. Nueva Esparta, el 30 de julio de 1949. Hijo de Alberto Valderrama Marcano y Juana Pastora Patiño.
Contrajo nupcias con Aracelys Dominguez, y el enlace tuvo 7 hijos: Luis, Alberto, Jaime, Javier, Aracelys, Carlos y Juanita.
Formó parte de la Agrupación los Guaiqueries del cantante y compositor margariteño Francisco Mata (1932-2011).
Algunas de sus doscientas composiciones célebres son: La Sirena, Polo con estribillo, Encapotado, Regaló a la Virgen, Lamento Marino, Paraguachoa, El tamarindo, El Violinista Oriental y el Avispero, entre otros.
Es Patrimonio Cultural de la Isla de Margarita.

Musician (cuatrista, guitarist, and mandolin player) and composer Alberto Valderrama Patiño, known as Beto Valderrama, was born in El Cercado, in Margarita Island, Nueva Esparta State, on July 30, 1949. Son of Alberto Valderrama Marcano and Juana Pastora Patiño.
He married Aracelys Dominguez, and the couple had 7 children: Luis, Alberto, Jaime, Javier, Aracelys, Carlos and Juanita.
He was a member of the group "Los Guaiqueries" of the singer and composer Francisco Mata (1932-2011).
Some of his two hundred famous compositions are: La Sirena, Polo con estribillo, Encapotado, Regaló a la Virgen, Lamento Marino, Paraguachoa, El tamarindo, El Violinista Oriental and el Avispero, among others.
