Esta semana para la gran comunidad de Open Mic te traigo este bello Bolero titulado Contigo en la distancia del compositor Cesar Portillo de la Luz,(Ciudad de La Habana, 31 de octubre de 1922 - 4 de mayo de 2013) fue un guitarrista y compositor cubano.

El bolero fue escrito a los 24 años de edad del canta-autor en 1946. Ha sido uno de los boleros más aclamados por parte de la discografía del canta-autor en la música latina siendo interpretado por muschos cantantes tales como José José, Luis Miguel, Christina Aguilera, Caetano Veloso, Plácido Domingo, Mina Mazzini,Belinda, David Bisbal, Susana Zabaleta, entre otros y yo, jeje. Además ha aparecido en por lo menos 10 películas y es unas de las canciones más aclamadas para los concursos de canto en América Latina. Actualmente es el bolero con más créditos tomados para el canta-autor.

En una entrevista para el bolerista le preguntaron que si le seguía sorprendiendo el éxito del bolero «Contigo en la distancia» y respondió:

"Claro, esa canción la compuse cuando ya estaba casado por primera vez... es un complemento que puede ser cantada por un hombre y una mujer; habla de lo que se siente en la pareja, que es una vivencia tan universal que la convierte en una canción para todos; y aunque algunos le hayan cambiado algunas palabras y otros le pongan más pasión, me alegra que la sigan cantando gente como Luis Miguel y el mismo Plácido Domingo."

Además de preguntarle que si le molesta escuchar la canción con la letra distinta, a lo que respondió:
