Aquí estoy, creo que en la raya, para hacer mi presentación. He estado bastante ocupado pero no dejo de pensar siempre en la canción de la semana para esta maravillosa comunidad.

El tema de esta semana es Nada es imposible, y se me ocurrió hacer este tema titulado Dueling Banjos del compositor Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith compuesta en 1955. esta canción alcanzó la fama porque fue incluida en la pelicula Deliverance, en una escena donde aparece un chico especial con su banjo y llega un forastero con una guitarra retando al muchacho a un duelo amistodos musical, es una parte muy dicertida de la película, claro tenía que ser con música, jeje. resulta que la canción la incluyeron sin permiso del compositor y éste introdujo una demanda que terminó ganando, obteniendo sus regalías, así debe ser, siempre hay que darle crédito a los compositores.

Con ésta canción te quiero transmitir de que nada es imposible, porque soy venezolano y no soy especialista en éste género musical llamado Bluegrass, al cual admiro y me parece extraordinario. Y el mensaje es que si puedo tocar este tipo de género, tu también puedes atrteverte a incursionar e intentarlo, esto incluye a cualquier aspecto de la vida.

this week's theme is Nothing is impossible, and I came up with this song called Dueling Banjos by composer Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith composed in 1955. this song became famous because it was included in the movie Deliverance, in a scene where a special boy appears with his banjo and a stranger arrives with a guitar challenging the boy to a musical duel, it's a very funny part of the movie, of course it had to be with music, hehe.
