Regarding this song, in Venezuela there are many brotherhoods that treasure the traditions that go with the Christian festive calendar of the believers of this religion. Many of these brotherhoods pay homage to saints, the cross and images, being a reason for celebrations almost all year round for different dates and each region of the country has its own way of celebrating these festivities and commemorations.
This mos in the month of June, the month of San Juan Bautista, specifically on the 24th, his day is celebrated in the state of Aragua, where vinací and vivo is celebrated with rhythms and drum beats, the saint is taken for a walk through the streets of the town to the rhythm of these tasty musical genres.
In the east it is celebrated with different genres and one of them is this called Punto redoblado to which the teacher Villafranca put lyrics which I show you below:

Juan did not celebrate his day
    Point redoubled.

Said Juan very timely that a party proposed
To celebrate his day June 24.
He thought to make a deluge and it could not be achieved
Applying the truth, making use of reason
It was to be the destruction of all mankind

He took the road to the underworld He bought fire for that day
In a bonfire that was there in the underworld.
This one returned with them without permission of his God
That load he carried, bottom full of joy
To celebrate his day, but he didn't succeed.
The business he did there, He bought thunder and lightning
He bought the thirstiest rains And all kinds of tempest.

In earthquakes no more He had to spend a lot,
Because he wanted to celebrate something big and monstrous.
Including tidal waves and a universal deluge.
He went to the house of the god Bacchus, he bought several bottles
Of sherry from the frontiers with alcohol that smells like a cacho.
He drank and got drunk, with his misty eyes
He was punished by the Mighty One and fell asleep.
When Juan woke up, it was already 28.
    June 24th!
