Esta semana para Open Mic les tragigo una Gaita zuliana titulada
Fiesta Decembrina, Aunque no estamos en Diciembre, como dije en ortras publicaciones, En mi país Venezuela se empiezan a oir gaitas desde el mes de Julio, yesta gaita es alegre para esta ocasión de disfrutar la vida con alegría.
El compositor de esta gaita es Eurípides Jesús Romero, nace en el año de 1923, en pleno corazón de Maracaibo, Sector las Veritas, calle Santa Teresita, cerca de la pulpería “La Batalla”. Ricardo Aguirre le graba una considerable cantidad de temas con Cardenales: Gaita Sandunguera, Gaita Pascuera (1963), La Parrandera, Vieja y famosa (1964), Tiempo Gaitero (1965) Madre adorada – como homenaje a su madre y sus hermanas- Devoción Gaitera (1966), La Vivarachera (1969).

Otros solistas, como Danelo Badell, le graba otro batacazo gaitero “Fiesta decembrina” y El gran Betulio Medina el tema “18 de noviembre”.

Quizás el tema mas conocido de los compuesto por “El Roble Gaitero” es sin lugar a dudas,“ El Negrito Fullero” grabado en el año 1971 por los Cardenales en la voz del polifacético y dicharachero cantante Daniel Alvarado
