Se trata de la Invención número 8 del gran Johann Sebastian Bach, uno de mis maestros compositores preferidos del Barroco.

La invención comienza presentando el motivo sin acompañamiento en la voz superior en la tonalidad principal de Fa mayor, seguido de otra aparición en la voz inferior una octava más abajo, acompañado por un contrapunto en la voz superior al que llamaremos contramotivo.
