Stevie Wonder Master Blaster (Jammin') - Cover by B-GROOVIE - First Live in my Village since Lockdown

Hey buddies!

After months of lockdown the situation in the area where I live seems to be slowly returning to almost normal.

The first events are back, involving until now markets in the streets of the village and very lately music live concerts.

Last Saturday, a few steps away from my house, I had the chance to see a cover band playing, formed by some friends of mine.

They were involved several bands and songwriters, it all started shortly after 6 pm and ended around midnight.

I didn't get a chance to see the previous musicians because I was working, but I could appreciate the musical skills of B-Groovie in about an hour and a half playing.

The event was organized by the youth cultural association Les Cailloux-Hibou to support the Italian Red Cross (association that helps people in need).

At the entrance the participants' data were taken with also telephone number, I was explained by the volunteers that in case any of the us, musicians or staff had contracted the Virus they could have contacted everyone more easily to warn them.

The participation, as you can see at the beginning of the video, wasn't very big, about fifty people at the time of the highest peak.

The fear is still great, the news coming out of the media of a massive return of contagion in the fall is not at all encouraging and a lot of people are still scared.

These events help to cheer up the morale and distract people, which with this kind of music is really easy, I hope it cheers you up too!

Dopo mesi di lockdown la situazione nella regione dove abito sembra pian piano stare tornando quasi alla normalità.

Sono tornate le prime manifestazioni, che hanno coinvolto per il momento i mercatini nelle vie del paese ed ora anche concerti musicali.

Sabato scorso, a pochi passi da casa mia, ho avuto l'occasione di assistere all'esibizione di un gruppo cover, nel quale suonano alcuni amici di vecchia data.

La manifestazione ha coinvolto più gruppi e cantautori, il tutto è iniziato poco dopo le sei di sera ed è finito verso mezzanotte.

Non ho avuto occasione di vedere i musicisti precedenti in quanto lavoravo, ma ho potuto apprezzare le doti musicali dei B-Groovie in circa un'ora e mezza di concerto.

La manifestazione è stata organizzata dall’associazione culturale giovanile Les Cailloux-Hibou per sostenere la Croce Rossa Italiana.

All'entrata venivano presi i dati dei partecipanti con tanto di numero telefonico, mi è stato spiegato dai volontari che in caso qualcuno degli spettatori, musicisti o staff avesse contratto il Virus avrebbero potuto contattato tutti quanti più facilmente per metterli in guardia.

La partecipazione, come potete vedere all'inizio del video, non è stata numerosissima, circa una cinquantina di persone nel momento di affluenza maggiore.

La paura è ancora tanta, le notizie che arrivano dai mass media di un ritorno massiccio di contagi in autunno non è per nulla incoraggiante e tanta gente ha ancora timore.

Questi eventi aiutano a risollevare il morale e distrarsi, cosa che con questo tipo di musica riesce davvero facile, spero che riesca a rallegrare anche voi!
