    Hey buddies!

In 2015 I recorded an EP with my former band, Watch them burn, to promote it I opened and managed several accounts on some of the most famous social networks at that time, including Facebook and Twitter.

We also relied on promoters, but I managed to get the best results on my own. I was very busy, spending my days making friend requests and following other people's accounts and having relationships with them, especially related to the music genre we were doing, metal.

We got a good response, we were masked on stage and in pictures, like the one on the cover, that made people curious. Even the record didn't come out bad at all, the recording was done by a studio in Turin, whose owner was a school friend of our guitarist, we recorded 5 songs, the ones I'm playing in nostalgic version on @threespeak lately.

The results, in terms of numbers were: more than 1000 likes on Facebook page, more than 4000 friends on my personal page and 10,000 followers on Twitter, now reduced to 9,500 after two years of account inactivity, as well as thousands of free listening and downloading on platforms such as Bandcamp, SoundCloud and Reverbnation.

If you want to verify yourself here are some links:

We also received good feedback from some online magazines, I tried to take advantage of all the opportunities available on the internet. But now the band is "dead" since a few years, and all that effort is still there, we still receive likes on Facebook page, some listening and downloading.

All this can only please me, I'm still contacted via email and social media with the request to organize concerts from all over the world, of which I have to decline with regret the invitations. A displeasure and an enormous pleasure at the same time, I've always tried to be as international as possible in my relationships, even if my English is sometimes not really impeccable, but luckily in the record I put a lot of effort into it. How sad to see all that effort fade away over time.

I'm especially interested, for the moment, in the Twitter issue, considering the fact that it's the social that sees the world of Cryptocurrency with more lucidity and objectivity, it occurred to me to use it to promote our Hive community.

Which is not so simple and probably unsettling for the 9,500 followers, so I thought the best thing is to do it keeping the musical line as a workhorse and the metal genre in first place.

Now comes the crucial point, because it's a genre not very treated on our platform but that surely has lot of lovers, this could turn out to be a very interesting factor, there's the possibility and the hope to expand thanks to that account one of the "weak" fields.

Luckily there are a lot of good artists here, since the only metal communities are really small and with very few subscribers, about thirty each one, I'm going to expand to rock, punk and similar genres this promotions of contents, in this case I would need your help, since these tags are quite thin, I would be happy if you could point out artists and good articles that maybe talk about them but don't use them, the only artist I know since a long time is the epic @lk666, which will surely prove to be one of our strengths.

The idea is to choose daily some quality articles and sponsor them on the page to try to make our voice heard and attract new users, if at the moment I had to limit myself to one genre I would not be able to publish almost nothing, while I was planning to publish on the page at least three posts a day and phrases that could attract attention without falling into spam.

So I decided to promote our blockchain on that account and I'm open to any kind of collaboration. The more ideas you have to share for the common good the more it will benefit the whole platform.

If you are interested and could use the hashtag #metalhive #punk #rock and similar for your articles it would make my life a lot easier, it would be very easy for me to find your content and share it, any language is welcome, also because often music doesn't know any flags.

    Ciao Amici!
