Duo Larimàr - Live - Sweet Child o' Mine

Hey buddies!

Few days ago a dear friend writes me a message telling me to go and see a concert of two young boys to whom he is "mentoring", which is more than plausible given his long work in the music industry.

A duo that he's been helping to grow for some years now, they come from a school project he was part of a short time ago, when he was a high school teacher.

Naturally I couldn't say no, also because the concert would take place a few hundred meters from my house. The evening was practically perfect, in the company of my wife and a couple of friends with the addition of the excellent music proposed by this young duo, which turned out to be the icing on the cake.

In the video you will listen to a cover of Guns'n'Roses that I think it is difficult not to know, unfortunately the singer had some difficulties at the beginning, but then she came back great!

Things that happen, also considering that the girl, of Dominican origin, is self-taught, hats off to her because she has a wonderful voice and unusual potential.

I had the opportunity to talk about music after the concert with the guitarist, a very nice guy from Serbia with a musical background similar to mine, a genre that I think you can guess from the Slipknot t-shirt he wore during the concert, which aroused my interest considering the "Hits Rock" covers from the past proposed by them.

The young guy said he was surprised by my past as a singer and immediately asked me some links to listen to my screams, also when I told him that in my area, until ten years ago, metal bands were many, he was incredulous.

I congratulated both of them because they really deserved it, I felt in them passion and fun, two fundamental factors to find continuous stimuli and cultivate this incredible passion.

They played a little more than an hour and we had a lot of fun, I wish you all to enjoy watching and listening!

Qualche giorno fa un caro amico mi scrive un messaggio dicendomi di andare a vedere un concerto di due giovani ragazzi ai quali sta facendo da "mentore", cosa più che plausibile considerata la sua lunga permanenza nel settore musicale.

Un duo che sta aiutando a crescere da alcuni anni, arrivano da un progetto scolastico del quale faceva parte poco tempo fa, quando era professore alle scuole superiori.

Naturalmente non potevo dire di no, anche perché il concerto si sarebbe svolto a poche centinaia di metri da casa mia. La serata è stata praticamente perfetta, in compagnia di mia moglie e un paio di amici con l'aggiunta dell'ottima musica proposta da questo giovane duo, che è si rivelata la ciliegina sulla torta.

Nel video ascolterete una cover dei Guns'n'Roses che penso sia difficile non conoscere, purtroppo la cantante ha avuto qualche difficoltà all'inizio, ma poi si è ripresa alla grande!

Cose che capitano, da tenere anche conto che la ragazza, di origini Domenicane, è autodidatta, tanto di cappello perché ha una voce stupenda e delle potenzialità fuori dal comune.

Ho avuto modo di parlare di musica dopo il concerto con il chitarrista, un simpaticissimo ragazzo di origini Serbe con un background musicale molto simile al mio, genere che penso si possa intuire dalla t-shirt degli Slipknot che indossava durante il concerto, cosa che ha destato il mio interesse considerate le cover di "Hits Rock" del passato da loro proposte.

Il giovane ragazzo si è detto sorpreso del mio passato da cantante e mi ha chiesto subito qualche link per ascoltare le mie urla, inoltre quando gli ho raccontato che in Valle d'Aosta fino ad una decina di anni fa i gruppi metal pullulavano è rimasto incredulo.

Ho fatto i complimenti ad entrambe perché se lo meritavano davvero, avvertivo in loro passione e divertimento, due fattori fondamentale per trovare stimoli continui e coltivare questa incredibile passione.
