There are songs that become classics because of what they meant to the public, because they brought a new sound, or broke with what was being done, for any of these reasons or for many others, this song that I bring you became not only a classic but an icon of rock worldwide. Creep' by the British band 'Radiohead', this magnificent song was released in 1992 in the album 'Creep'.
Let's talk a little bit about creep, it's a song that starts with a quiet verse with a simple and steady drum beat that accompanies a bass and a clean electric guitar that moves along with the bass with the same chords throughout the song (G, A, B, C, Cm) from the beginning to the end, the coolest thing about creep is that in order not to make it monotonous because of the chords, they use the dynamics to full, that is the soft verse, guitars without distortion effect and then in the chorus enters the distortion and two more guitars doing well distorted countermelodies while the voice has a melancholic and sad melody that surrounds you completely, but without raising the vocal register until the second chorus that there if that raises the voice 'Thom Yorke' (lead vocals and guitar of Radiohead) with very long notes and almost crying, until everything is almost silent, but not so, follow the guitar, bass and drums very soft with the last verse but they are added a piano that is barely heard but gives an incredible and perfect climate in that part, until the last super soft chorus and the end. This song for me was, is and will be very important in my life, since I was very young I have played and sung it thousands of times with many rock bands, in rock karaokes and in many places, even with a solo guitar or a cuatro, hahahaha imagine playing creep in a Venezuelan cuatro, is part of being on a beach and only have a cuatro at hand and have the desire to sing that song, but I had never done it with the violin, today I bring it with my violin, I hope you like it.
As always I leave you the link to the original and the lyrics.
    Greetings and see you soon.

    Creep

    When you were here before
Couldn't look you in the eye
    You're just like an angel
    Your skin makes me cry
    You float like a feather
    In a beautiful world
    I wish I was special
    You're so fuckin' special
    But I'm a creep
    I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
    I don't belong here
I don't care if it hurts
    I wanna have control
    I want a perfect body
    I want a perfect soul
    I want you to notice
    When I'm not around
    So fuckin' special
    I wish I was special
    But I'm a creep
    I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
    I don't belong here
She's running out the door (run)
    She's running out
    She run, run, run, run,
    Run...
    Whatever makes you happy
    Whatever you want
    You're so fuckin' special
    I wish I was special
    But I'm a creep
    I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
    I don't belong here
    I don't belong here.
